Cadillac is honoring Formula One driver Sergio “Checo” Pérez with the Cadillac Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition, a special-edition luxury SUV limited to just 11 units, exclusively for Mexico. The model features distinctive styling details and premium equipment while retaining the same 682-horsepower supercharged V8 powertrain as the standard Escalade-V.
Cadillac Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition Honors F1 Driver
As Formula One grew in popularity during the 21st century, more automakers became interested in joining the sport. Cadillac announced the formation of its own team in 2023 and began competing during the 2026 season with Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas as its drivers.
The team’s inaugural season has been challenging, with Bottas’ 13th-place finish at the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix representing its best result so far. Despite the team’s performance on the track, Cadillac is recognizing Pérez with a limited-production version of its performance SUV.
Pérez, known by his nickname Checo, is from Mexico and races with the number 11. Cadillac is reflecting that connection by producing only 11 examples of the Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition, all exclusively for the Mexican market.
Exclusive Styling Details Set the Special Edition Apart
The Cadillac Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition receives several exterior and interior details that distinguish it from other versions of the SUV. The Escalade and V-Series emblems feature black finishes, while the Cadillac badge uses a monochromatic design.
Additional touches include illuminated grille and door handles, along with an engine cover featuring an exposed carbon-fiber finish. The SUV also has puddle lights that project a V-Series graphic onto the ground and sport pedals inside the cabin.
The special edition rides on 24-inch wheels finished in Satin Graphite. Buyers also receive a welcome kit created for the limited-run model.
Each vehicle includes two plaques identifying its production number among the 11 examples and bearing Pérez’s signature. One plaque is mounted on the exterior B-pillar, while the other is located on the interior center console.
Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition Keeps Its 682-HP V8
Despite its exclusive appearance, the Cadillac Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition does not receive powertrain upgrades. It uses a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque.
A 10-speed automatic transmission sends power to an all-wheel-drive system equipped with an electronic limited-slip differential. The SUV also features Magnetic Ride Control adaptive suspension and six-piston Brembo front brakes.
Luxury Features Include a 55-Inch Display
The special-edition Escalade-V combines its performance hardware with an extensive selection of luxury and technology features. Standard equipment includes a 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar screen and a multicolor head-up display.
The cabin features a 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference stereo. Driver-assistance and safety systems include a 360-degree camera system, parking assist, front pedestrian and cyclist detection, rear pedestrian detection, cross-traffic alert and braking assistance.
Second-row passengers receive executive seats with heating, ventilation, six-way adjustment, lumbar massage and folding trays. They also have access to two 12.6-inch screens.
Limited to 11 units and available exclusively in Mexico, the Cadillac Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition combines distinctive styling and personalized production plaques with a 682-horsepower V8 and an extensive collection of luxury features.
