The 2027 Ford Mustang Mach-E introduces a larger standard battery, revised all-wheel-drive hardware, lower prices on most trims and a new Trail model designed for more rugged driving. The electric crossover also gains expanded technology availability, additional ground clearance on the Trail and standard BlueCruise hands-free highway driving on the range-topping GT and Rally models.
2027 Ford Mustang Mach-E Adds New Trail Trim
The new Mustang Mach-E Trail is based on the Select eAWD trim and costs $2,295. Its off-road-oriented upgrades include 6.0 inches of ground clearance, which is 0.2 inches more at the rear than the Mustang Mach-E Rally, thanks to a 10-millimeter front lift and a 15-millimeter increase at the rear.
The Trail also features specially tuned front and rear struts and springs, the Rally’s steering rack and standard all-wheel drive. These changes bring several of the Rally’s mechanical features to a new model in the lineup.
Exterior upgrades include 19-inch wheels finished in High Gloss Dark Carbonized Gray with as-cast graphics borrowed from the Rally. The wheels are fitted with 235/55 Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires. Unique bodyside graphics and a Carbon Black lower front fascia further distinguish the Trail, while the interior features a Mustang Mach-E Trail logo embossed on the center armrest.
Trail Adds Standard Power Outlets and Optional Accessories
The 2027 Mustang Mach-E Trail comes standard with a 400-watt, 120-volt Pro Power Onboard system. Outlets are located in the cargo area and behind the center console.
Buyers can also order an optional Clamp On Cross Bar Kit produced by Thule, along with an Interior Protection Package that includes all-weather floor mats and a cargo-area protector.
Trail buyers receive an additional 100,000 Ford Rewards points on top of the 22,000 points awarded to all Mustang Mach-E buyers. The points can be used toward accessories, parts, subscriptions and merchandise.
2027 Ford Mustang Mach-E Prices by Trim
Ford has reduced prices on most 2027 Mustang Mach-E trims, although the Select RWD model costs more than its 2026 counterpart. All listed prices include a $2,045 destination fee.
- Select RWD: $42,040, an increase of $2,200 compared with 2026.
- Premium RWD: $45,040, a decrease of $2,350.
- Select eAWD: $45,040, a decrease of $3,050.
- Trail eAWD: $47,335, a new trim for 2027.
- Premium eAWD: $48,040, a decrease of $2,300.
- GT eAWD: $53,040, a decrease of $2,400.
- Rally eAWD: $57,335, a decrease of $2,400.
The new Trail sits between the Select eAWD and Premium eAWD in the 2027 lineup, while the Rally remains the most expensive model listed. Apart from the base Select RWD, every returning trim listed above receives a price reduction.
Larger Standard Battery for the 2027 Mustang Mach-E
One of the most significant changes for 2027 is the replacement of the previously standard 70-kWh usable battery with an 88-kWh battery. The GT and Rally receive a 91-kWh battery.
The larger battery contributes to the higher starting price of the base model, while the other trims become less expensive. Ford has also introduced a cheaper-to-produce front motor for all-wheel-drive models that delivers the same power, helping offset the cost of the larger battery.
Updated EPA range estimates have not yet been published. However, the larger battery is expected to allow the 2027 Mustang Mach-E to travel farther than the previous model year.
BlueCruise Availability Expands Across the Lineup
Ford is expanding the availability of BlueCruise 1.5 hands-free highway driving technology for the 2027 Mustang Mach-E. The system comes standard on the range-topping GT and Rally trims and is optional on the Select with the Tech Pack Lite or the Premium with the Premium Tech Pack.
The package includes one year plus 90 days of service. Owners of trims equipped with the necessary hardware can also pay for the service through a one-time purchase.
The Mustang Mach-E Trail must be ordered with BlueCruise hardware because the equipment cannot be added later.

2027 Ford Mustang Mach-E Ordering and Availability
The 2027 Ford Mustang Mach-E is available to order now, with deliveries expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027. However, buyers cannot yet configure their preferred model through the online build-and-price tool, which is scheduled to launch early next year.
