Hyundai Motor Company earned three honors at the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026 competition, with recognition spanning modular robotics and electric vehicle concepts. The awards included a Best of the Best distinction, a Luminary nomination, and two Winner titles, highlighting the company’s latest design concepts.
MobED Concepts Receive Top Recognition
Hyundai Motor’s MobED Urban Hopper and Golf modular robot concepts received the competition’s Best of the Best award and were also nominated for the Luminary award for their modular robotics innovation.
According to the competition, only up to five Best of the Best winners are selected for the Luminary nomination. The overall Luminary winner will be announced during an awards ceremony in October.
Concept THREE and CRATER Concept Earn Winner Titles
The Concept THREE compact electric vehicle earned a Winner title for presenting a next-generation electric mobility vision and its innovative Aero Hatch typology.
The CRATER Concept off-road electric SUV also received a Winner title for transforming the off-road EV into a reliable companion for exploration.

Hyundai Motor said the global recognition reflects the brand’s world-class design, technological excellence, and position as a highly innovative enterprise.
