An ultra-exclusive Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf Final Edition with just 166 miles is now listed for sale at a current bid of $460,075. One of only four Final Edition examples built in 2018, the hand-built luxury sedan offers a rare opportunity to own one of the most bespoke cars produced under the Lagonda name.
Aston Martin’s Ultra-Luxury Lagonda Taraf
Lagonda was positioned beyond the typical luxury associated with Aston Martin, serving as the brand’s premium and ultra-luxe name. The Lagonda Taraf represents that approach with a hand-built design focused on luxury and exclusivity.
The model was initially intended exclusively for the Middle East, but its popularity eventually led Aston Martin to offer the Taraf globally. Total production reached 120 units, making the sedan one of the most expensive cars of its type in the world.
The Lagonda Taraf was introduced in 2014 and produced from 2015 to 2016. Aston Martin returned to the model in 2018 with a Final Edition limited to just four cars. One of those four examples is now for sale.
Luxury Inside and Out
The interior of the Lagonda Taraf features quilted white leather paired with blue accents, delivering a level of luxury beyond Aston Martin’s standard offerings at the time.
The sedan was also hand-built, with its details finished by artisans working under the Lagonda name. This gives the Final Edition an especially exclusive position within the model’s limited production run.
5.9-Liter V12 Produces 540 Horsepower
The Lagonda Taraf is powered by a 5.9-liter V12 engine, which Aston Martin rounds up to 6.0 liters. The engine is paired with an eight-speed ZF transmission and produces 540 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque.
That power was enough to accelerate the V12 super sedan from zero to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds.
Just 166 Miles on the Clock
This particular Lagonda Taraf has traveled just 166 miles. That is three miles more than another example previously offered by Broad Arrow Auctions, which sold for $472,500 and also included a luggage set.
For the current car, buyers may want to check with DuPont Registry to determine whether its luggage set is included.
A Rare Lagonda Taraf Is Now for Sale
The car is listed on the DuPont Registry, where the current bid at the time of writing stands at $460,075. Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf models have historically changed hands at higher prices, but their market value has since fallen to below half a million dollars.
The Taraf was also an invite-only purchase when new, meaning Aston Martin had to handpick buyers for the hand-built ultra-luxury sedan.
The example currently for sale is located at Ferrari of Rancho Mirage in California. It is finished in Ultramarine Black, a color taken from the Lagonda archives, while the interior uses a Q White Essence palette with Caspian Blue carpets.
As one of just four 2018 Lagonda Taraf Final Edition cars, the example combines extremely limited production, a 540-horsepower V12 and just 166 miles on its clock. It is currently being offered for less than half a million dollars.
