Alfa Romeo will unveil a new concept car at the Paris Motor Show next month, presenting what the brand describes as a vision for its future and a showcase of Stellantis’ premium sports brand’s creative strength.
Alfa Romeo Teases a New Concept
The upcoming Paris Motor Show will provide the stage for Alfa Romeo to reveal its latest concept. The brand has released an abstract teaser image showing its signature Alfa Rosso paint, but the image offers few clear clues about the vehicle itself.
The visible section could be part of the D pillar, the roof structure or even a side vent, while other sources have also struggled to determine exactly which part of the car Alfa Romeo is showing.
“The Car Every Alfista Has Long Been Waiting For”
Alfa Romeo’s announcement describes the concept as “The car that every Alfista has long been waiting for.” The statement raises questions about whether the upcoming vehicle represents the sports car that the brand’s enthusiasts have been anticipating.
Another part of the announcement points more directly toward a new sports car concept, describing it as being “created for those who still love driving and [are] seeking authentic experiences behind the wheel.”
The statement also raises the possibility of a vehicle designed around an even greater focus on driving performance, prompting comparisons with the Stelvio, Giulia and 33 Stradale.
Italian Design and Alfa Romeo Heritage
The concept draws inspiration from Italy, including its sartorial craftsmanship and refined aesthetic sensibility. Alfa Romeo also highlights sportiness as a pursuit of dynamism and driving pleasure.
Red is the third defining element, described in the announcement as a symbol of performance and passion that has always been part of the brand’s heritage.
Alfa Romeo says these three ingredients come together in a masterpiece that is “unmistakably Italian and unmistakably Alfa Romeo,” while looking toward the future with ambition and boldness.
Could the Concept Mark a New Beginning?
The upcoming concept also raises questions about what it could mean for Alfa Romeo’s future, particularly in the United States. The brand experienced global growth last year with the Junior, which has been working for Alfa Romeo so far.
Stellantis has also outlined a future roadmap for Alfa Romeo, including a new C-Segment SUV and a boutique sports car announced in May of this year.
Alfa Romeo Concept Car Debuts October 12
The wait for Alfa Romeo’s new concept will continue until the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Attendees will be able to see the concept from October 12 to 18, 2026.
