A Le Mans Winner Meets a Pack of Modified Cars
The video, titled “The fast and the… car which won Le Mans,” follows the winning Toyota race car as it travels on a transporter. The setup looks like a homage to the first Cars movie, while the title also suggests a possible play on the Fast franchise.
The scenes feature several modified cars driving around the race car’s transporter. Among them are a BRZ, a Supra and what appears to be a heavily modified sixth-generation Toyota Chaser.
None of the cars appear to be factory standard, and one is shown running anti-lag while spitting flames. The video also uses a 4:3 format rather than a widescreen presentation, adding to the throwback feel.
The Fast & Furious and Cars References
The video could be seen as a playful reference to the Fast & Furious movies, particularly the Honda Civics, underlighting and truck sequence associated with the franchise.
