The 2027 Cadillac Escalade IQ is set to gain a new Signature Sport trim that will effectively become the top model in the electric SUV lineup. The new version will add exclusive exterior and interior design elements while retaining the existing powertrain and performance specifications.
Signature Sport Becomes the Escalade IQ Flagship
Cadillac has decided to introduce the Signature Sport trim for the 2027 Escalade IQ model year, according to GM Authority. The new trim will sit above the existing Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury and Premium Sport versions.
The Signature Sport will also be available in the extended-wheelbase Escalade IQL form, giving buyers the option to combine the new appearance package with the longer model.
Exclusive Exterior Features
Cadillac has added several exterior details to distinguish the Signature Sport from the rest of the Escalade IQ lineup. The trim will come standard with a blacked-out roof and puddle lights, features that are available only as options on the lower trims.
The most distinctive exterior element is a new set of 8-spoke, 24-inch dark alloy wheels with gloss-black inserts. The wheel design will be exclusive to the Signature Sport and will not be offered as an option on the lower models.
Signature Sport Interior Gets Exclusive Carbon Fiber
Inside, the Signature Sport will feature a black cabin with Santorini accents and Haumea Carbon Fiber. The carbon-fiber trim will be exclusive to the new version.
The seats will use Nouveauluxe upholstery with Sky Cool Gray contrasting accents. Other Escalade IQ models also offer Nouveauluxe seats, but they do not use the same color combination as the Signature Sport.
There will be no equipment changes for the new trim. Its primary distinction will therefore be its exclusive exterior and interior appearance compared with the rest of the lineup.
Escalade IQ Signature Sport Price and Production Date
No pricing has been revealed for the 2027 Escalade IQ Signature Sport, and the start of production has not yet been announced.
No performance changes have been indicated for the new trim. It is expected to retain the same dual-motor battery setup producing 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque.
That would give the Escalade IQ a full range of 465 miles, while the extended-wheelbase IQL would have a range of 460 miles.
