The 2027 Ford F-150 is getting a nostalgic new Two-Tone Package alongside a revised engine lineup and more affordable off-road trims. The factory paint option draws inspiration from the classic two-tone colors of Ford’s Bumpside and Dentside pickups, but it will be limited to just two F-150 variants.
2027 Ford F-150 Two-Tone Package
The Two-Tone Package is available exclusively on 2027 F-150 Crew Cab models with the 5.5-foot box and 145-inch wheelbase. Ford is offering the package only on the XLT and Lariat trims.
Available through Ford Custom Garage, the automaker’s in-house division for unique options and packages, the design combines a red upper and lower body with three laser-cut accent color choices around the truck’s middle section: Oxford White, Carbonized Gray or Agate Black.
Ford has not yet launched the 2027 model-year configurator, so pricing for the Two-Tone Package has not been announced. Ford currently charges as much as $995 for the most expensive metallic paint on the 2026 F-150, meaning the new package is expected to cost more than $1,000.
Chrome Appearance Package Also Required
According to Road Ethos, buyers choosing the Two-Tone Package will also have to select the Chrome Appearance Package. That option adds $1,315 to the price of the 2026 F-150 XLT Crew Cab, making the effective cost of the two-tone treatment considerably higher.
The package will, however, be a factory-applied paint job rather than a vinyl wrap, avoiding differences in aging between the wrap and the truck’s original finish.
What Else Is New for the 2027 F-150?
The 2027 Ford F-150 will also receive a new base EcoBoost V6 engine. The 3.0-liter engine replaces the previous 2.7-liter version and produces 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
Ford is also making the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 available on more trims, including the King Ranch and Platinum. The move follows Ram’s decision to reintroduce its Hemi V8 due to customer demand.
Ford will additionally introduce less expensive versions of the Tremor and Raptor off-road variants, expanding access to the rugged pickups. BlueCruise hands-free driving will be available from the XLT trim and above, while BlueCruise with Towing will enable hands-free towing on designated roadways.
2027 Ford F-150 Arrival Date
The precise arrival date for the 2027 Ford F-150 remains unknown. Along with the revised engine lineup, more affordable off-road variants and expanded BlueCruise availability, the new Two-Tone Package adds another change to the upcoming pickup as the all-new Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra are arriving soon.
