The 2027 Dodge Durango is adding new customization options as Dodge continues to expand the SUV’s already extensive range of configurations. The latest choices include a new $595 exterior color and an exclusive $2,995 interior option for the Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak.
2027 Dodge Durango Gets Smokescreen Exterior Color
The new exterior color is called Smokescreen, and it is available for $595. The color was first shown on the Durango R/T 392 Smokescreen Concept revealed in August.
With its grayscale appearance, Smokescreen adds another subdued color option to the Durango lineup. Combined with black wheels and trim, the color gives the SUV a distinctive appearance.
“The Durango Smokescreen Concept was a pretty thinly veiled way of testing the waters at Roadkill Nights, and the reaction was fantastic,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge CEO. “After talking with enthusiasts at the event, it was clear they loved it even more in person than they did in photos. When customers tell us they love something, we listen. Their feedback helped accelerate our plans and bring this from concept to reality, giving owners another way to make Durango stand out.”
Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak Gets New Seats
The second new option is available exclusively for the Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak. The Petrol Blue seats cost $2,995 and use Laguna leather upholstery.
The seats feature dual silver stitching and embossed SRT Hellcat logos. Along with their unique color, the Laguna leather adds a premium touch to the SUV’s interior.
Durango Performance and Towing Capability
The Durango is positioned as an option for driving enthusiasts who need the practicality of a family SUV. Even the entry-level models feature a 360-hp Hemi V8, which Dodge describes as the most affordable V8 vehicle with all-wheel drive in the industry.
The Durango R/T 392 steps up to a 475-hp V8, while the SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Jailbreak models use a supercharged V8 producing 710 hp.
The SRT Hellcat models can reach 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and offer a maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds.
2027 Dodge Durango Pricing and Sales
Pricing for the 2027 Dodge Durango lineup starts at $43,675 for the GT Hemi. Hellcat models will cost more than $80,000 before buyers add options.
The Durango’s combination of performance, practicality and customization has helped Dodge sell more than 61,000 examples in 2026 so far. Sales are already up 13% this year despite the SUV’s age.
The latest color and interior additions raise the number of customization possibilities to more than 20 million for Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak models. The current generation originally entered production in 2010.
