The Range Rover has long represented luxury and status in the SUV market, but a fully optioned build can push its price to nearly $300,000. In this configuration, the Range Rover EV build reached $296,260 after selecting the Long Wheelbase model, the top-tier SV Ultra variant and several expensive options.
Building a $300,000 Range Rover EV
Range Rover’s online configurator keeps the process relatively simple, using a one-page, scroll-down layout rather than multiple pages packed with information. While there are not many available options, several high-priced selections can quickly increase the vehicle’s total cost.
The process begins with three body configurations: the Standard Wheelbase priced at $113,500, the Long Wheelbase 7 Seats at $120,700, and the Long Wheelbase, which starts at $179,500. The Long Wheelbase was selected for this build.
The powertrain choice was the electric model, which produces 542 horsepower and has a full range of 360 miles, according to the website.
SV Ultra Adds $95,500 to the Price
With the Long Wheelbase selected, the starting price remained at $179,500 before choosing the vehicle variant. Moving to the top-of-the-line SV Ultra added $95,500, bringing the total to $275,000.
Range Rover offers several exterior colors at no additional cost, while Icy White Gloss Finish and Ionian Silver Satin Finish are available for an additional $2,000 each.
The SV Ultra also includes a range of standard equipment, including its rims and painted brake calipers. Inside, the model comes with Perforated Ultrafabrics and Kvadrat seats and headlining, along with Gloss White ceramic controls and Natural Light Wood Veneer.
Additional Range Rover Options
Despite the high price of the SV Ultra, there are relatively few additional exterior and interior options available. The Cold Climate Pack adds $550, while premium interior and storage protection costs another $775.
Mudflaps designed to protect the paint add $425 to the build. The most expensive extra is the SV Electrostatic Sound system, which Range Rover describes as delivering “an acoustic experience so flawless and accurate, it feels like you’re at a live performance.” The system costs an additional $12,570.
The Final $296,260 Range Rover EV Price
After all of the selected configurations and options were added, the final build totaled $296,260. That price puts the Range Rover significantly above its main rivals and brings it closer to ultra-luxury models such as the Bentley Bentayga and Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
