The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette lineup brings major performance upgrades, including a new 6.7-liter LS6 V8 producing 535 horsepower and 520 pound-feet of torque. However, buyers will pay more for every model, as Chevrolet has increased prices across the lineup by $300 starting September 28.

2027 Chevrolet Corvette Gets a New LS6 V8

The new 6.7-liter LS6 V8 is one of the biggest highlights of the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette lineup. The engine powers the Stingray, along with Chevrolet’s revived Grand Sport and Grand Sport X trims, delivering 535 horsepower and 520 pound-feet of torque.

The Grand Sport X adds hybrid assistance, raising combined output to 721 horsepower and 665 pound-feet of torque. Chevrolet’s performance-focused model can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds and complete the quarter-mile in 10.4 seconds.

The standard Grand Sport also receives several performance-focused upgrades, including a widebody construction, upgraded running gear and the optional Z52 Track Performance Package.

Chevrolet Raises Prices Across the 2027 Corvette Lineup

The performance improvements come with higher prices. The LS6-powered Stingray entered production in June with a starting MSRP of $73,495, including the destination fee. That was already $1,000 more than the 2026 model and approximately $3,500 above the 2025 Corvette Stingray.

Starting September 28, Chevrolet increased the price of every 2027 Corvette variant by another $300. The adjustment brings the starting price of the Corvette Stingray 1LT coupe to $73,795.

General Motors officially confirmed the price adjustment but provided no additional comments on Chevrolet’s pricing strategy. Orders placed before September 28 will not be affected by the increase.

Updated Prices for the Grand Sport, Grand Sport X and Z06

The latest adjustment also affects the higher-performance Corvette models. The Grand Sport now costs $88,795, while the Grand Sport X is priced at $112,495. The Corvette Z06 starts at $121,695.

Although the additional $300 represents another increase for buyers, the 2027 lineup also brings substantial performance changes. The new LS6 small-block V8 is a central part of those upgrades, delivering what the source describes as the highest torque of any naturally aspirated production V8 ever made.

With the latest price adjustment confirmed, Chevrolet’s entire 2027 Corvette lineup now carries a higher starting price, while the new engine and updated performance offerings distinguish the model year from its predecessors.
