ABT Audi RS 5-R Boosts Power to 709 HP
ABT Power S increases the RS 5’s combined output to 709 horsepower and 668 lb-ft of torque. That represents a gain of 79 hp and 60 lb-ft over the standard model.
The standard Audi RS 5 combines a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with an electric motor to produce 630 hp and 608 lb-ft of torque. Audi quotes a 0-to-60-mph time of approximately 3.5 seconds.
ABT’s upgrades raise the combustion engine’s output from 503 hp to 583 hp, contributing to the car’s increased overall performance.
Suspension, Wheels and Carbon Fiber Upgrades
The RS 5-R package includes suspension modifications featuring ABT’s in-house springs and more aggressive anti-roll bars. The car also receives 22-inch forged wheels and additional carbon fiber aerodynamic components.
Inside, unique details distinguish the modified model from the standard RS 5. A numbered “1 of 130” badge appears on the dashboard and door sills, identifying the car as part of the limited production run.
RS 5-R Available as a Sedan or Avant
ABT offers the RS 5-R package for both the sedan and the Avant wagon. The sedan package is priced at €62,000, equivalent to slightly more than $69,400.
