The Audacious IV brings the spirit of the iconic Audi Quattro into the modern era with a custom build featuring RS4 underpinnings, a high-revving V8 and extensive personalization options. Created by British firm Audacious Automotive, the limited-production tribute combines classic Quattro-inspired styling with modern performance, including engine configurations producing up to 750 horsepower.

Audacious IV Blends Audi RS4 DNA With Quattro Styling

The original Audi Quattro became one of the most significant models in the brand’s history, thanks to its Group B rally racing pedigree and revolutionary all-wheel-drive system. Audacious Automotive, led by founder Mac Zaglewski, aims to capture that legacy with the Audacious IV.

Rather than producing a straightforward replica, the company has developed a modern reinterpretation that combines the classic car’s character with a different mechanical foundation.

Only 50 examples will be hand-built, with each vehicle offering extensive customization options. Every build begins with the architecture of a B7-generation Audi RS4, while customers can choose between original Quattro body shells and carbon-fiber bodywork.

Carbon-bodied versions are expected to weigh approximately 1,200 kilograms (2,645 pounds). Models using steel bodywork could weigh between 1,400 and 1,450 kg (3,086–3,197 lbs).

The cabin takes a more understated approach, featuring an analog-inspired design and original RS4 seats reupholstered to complement the vehicle’s updated appearance.

Audacious IV V8 Engine Offers Up to 750 Horsepower

Power comes from the Audi RS4’s 4.2-liter V8, which will be available in several configurations paired with a six-speed manual transmission.

The entry-level setup features a supercharger and produces 600 horsepower. Buyers seeking more performance can opt for a 750-hp version.

Two additional high-revving engine configurations take the concept further, with both capable of reaching 10,000 rpm. One uses naturally aspirated induction, while the other is supercharged.

Power figures for these two configurations have not been disclosed.

Audacious IV Targets 200-MPH Top Speed

The company is targeting a top speed of 200 mph and a zero-to-60-mph time of less than 3.4 seconds, placing the IV in supercar territory according to its performance goals.

Each customer commission is expected to take approximately three years to complete from the time the order is placed.

Pricing starts at £350,000, equivalent to about $470,000, excluding VAT and the cost of the base vehicle.

With only 50 examples planned, the Audacious IV combines Quattro-inspired design, RS4 mechanical foundations and a range of powerful V8 configurations in a highly customizable modern tribute.
