The 2027 Toyota Tundra is getting more expensive, with prices rising by as much as $4,530 across certain configurations. However, the updated pickup adds several technology and safety features, including a standard 14.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 360-degree camera system and more advanced driver-assistance capabilities.

The full-size truck starts at $45,085, including a $2,195 destination charge, representing a $1,630 increase over the previous model year. While the price adjustment is smaller than the increase affecting the Sequoia, the latest Tundra brings a combination of technology upgrades, additional equipment and reduced maintenance coverage.

2027 Toyota Tundra Gets a Standard 14-Inch Touchscreen

One of the most significant upgrades for the 2027 Toyota Tundra is the addition of a standard 14.0-inch infotainment touchscreen across the lineup. Previously, the larger display was unavailable on the entry-level SR trim and could only be added to the SR5 through a $1,145 option package.

The new screen replaces the previous standard 8.0-inch display, providing a substantially larger infotainment interface.

The Tundra will also receive Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, which incorporates a standard 360-degree camera system across all trims. The system also integrates several towing-related technologies.

Using rear-facing radar and sonar sensors, the truck can detect and estimate the size of an attached trailer without requiring driver input. This capability simplifies the use of towing-capable adaptive cruise control, trailer blind spot monitoring and lane-centering technology.

2027 Toyota Tundra Trailhunter Package Pricing

The Trailhunter package will be available exclusively on the SR5 model equipped with four-wheel drive. It includes Old Man Emu shocks and struts, along with comprehensive underbody skid plates.

Specific pricing for the Tundra Trailhunter package has not been announced. However, the equivalent option on the Sequoia costs $3,500.

If the same pricing applies to the Tundra, the package could bring the starting price to approximately $55,845 for a Double Cab configuration or $57,845 for a CrewMax version.

These estimated totals include the SR5’s $47,150 base price, a $2,195 destination charge, $3,000 for optional four-wheel drive and an assumed $3,500 Trailhunter package cost. The SR5’s starting price is already $640 higher than in 2026.

2027 Toyota Tundra Prices by Trim

The 2027 Tundra lineup features price increases across all listed configurations, with the largest adjustment affecting the Limited i-Force Max hybrid model.

Trim 2027 Price Increase Over 2026
SR $45,085 +$1,630
SR5 $49,345 +$640
Limited $57,985 +$930
Platinum $67,545 +$1,695
1794 $68,200 +$1,625
Limited i-Force Max $65,285 +$4,530
Platinum i-Force Max $74,845 +$2,045
1794 i-Force Max $75,515 +$2,015
TRD Pro $77,595 +$2,835
Capstone $85,120 +$2,125

The Limited i-Force Max has the largest price increase, rising by $4,530 for 2027. This configuration comes with a hybrid powertrain producing 583 pound-feet of torque. However, the specific reason for its substantial price adjustment has not been explained.

The flagship Capstone also receives an equipment upgrade. Its adaptive variable suspension with rear air springs, previously an optional feature, is now standard equipment.

ToyotaCare Maintenance Coverage Gets Reduced

Despite the technology and equipment improvements, the 2027 Toyota Tundra comes with a reduction in ToyotaCare maintenance coverage.

The program previously offered complimentary maintenance for two years or up to 25,000 miles. For 2027, coverage has been reduced to just one year or 10,000 miles.

The shorter coverage period represents a notable change for prospective buyers, particularly as prices increase across the Tundra lineup.

Roadside assistance coverage remains unchanged, continuing for two years with unlimited mileage.

2027 Toyota Tundra Combines Technology Upgrades With Higher Costs

The 2027 Toyota Tundra brings a larger standard infotainment screen, expanded camera capabilities, updated driver-assistance technology and additional standard equipment on selected trims. However, buyers will also face higher prices and reduced ToyotaCare maintenance coverage as part of the latest model-year changes.
