Ford Custom Garage Offers the Maverick SV300T Package
Ford introduced the Maverick SV300T as a SEMA concept last year, and the package is now available for purchase through Ford Custom Garage, a division of Ford Racing. Rather than serving as a new Maverick trim level, the SV300T is a collection of parts and tuning upgrades that buyers can finance with a new vehicle purchase or add after taking delivery.
The SV300T is one of several Custom Garage packages available for Ford vehicles. The package costs $5,000, excluding installation and tires, and is backed by Ford’s three-year/36,000-mile warranty.
It can be ordered for any 2.0T Ford Maverick, from the XL through the Lobo. Ford recommends adding the 4K Towing Package for additional cooling.
What the $5,000 SV300T Package Includes
The SV300T package combines aftermarket-style upgrades with components borrowed from other Ford models. A turbocharger from the EcoBoost Mustang increases output to 300 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, representing gains of 50 horsepower and 70 lb-ft of torque.
The package also includes 20-inch wheels from the Mustang Mach-E GT, available in either black or bronze.
Additional exterior upgrades include lowering springs, black or bronze tailgate lettering, a front spoiler, a graphics package, and a Ford Performance badge.
To support the larger turbocharger, Ford adds a high-performance Mishimoto intercooler, Lobo shocks—with a discount for customers starting with a Lobo model—a stabilizer bar and bushings, and upgraded brakes for XLT and Lariat models. A Borla cat-back exhaust and ProCal 4 tuning complete the package.
Driving Impressions
Ford engineers said they did not have an official 0-60 mph time for the Maverick SV300T package. During testing on an open parking lot, the upgraded pickup reached 60 mph in 6.33 seconds after chirping all four tires off the line. The testers noted it was not the quickest EcoBoost Maverick time they had recorded and said they would like another opportunity to achieve a faster run.
The Maverick was also driven on a short autocross course, where its lowered suspension and upgraded brakes were put to use. While it is not described as a hot hatchback, the truck was found to be more agile than Ford’s larger pickups.
According to the evaluation, the suspension and brake upgrades give the Maverick a more nimble feel and help it remain composed during quick direction changes. However, the reviewers said they would have liked Ford to make changes to the steering rack alongside the other performance improvements.

The SV300T is described as a step toward the sporty Maverick many enthusiasts have wanted, though it stops short of offering the full suspension, brake, transmission, and steering calibrations that a complete Maverick ST would include.
The package can be added to any Maverick, including the base XL, making it an accessible option for both current and future owners seeking a modest performance increase, factory-backed warranty coverage, and a sportier appearance with an OEM-style finish.
