Lexus has announced Lexus Flight, a new helicopter service that expands the brand’s mobility offerings beyond automobiles. Developed in partnership with Aero Toyota Co., Ltd., the service is designed to complement Lexus’ vision of connecting land, sea, and air transportation through a unified luxury mobility experience.

Lexus said the new helicopter service will be operated in conjunction with Aero Toyota Co., Ltd., one of Japan’s largest on-demand helicopter charter providers.
The launch represents the latest step in the brand’s effort to create a mobility ecosystem that connects transportation across land, sea, and air while integrating products and lifestyle experiences.
Part of the “DISCOVER—Imitate No One” Vision
The introduction of Lexus Flight supports the company’s “DISCOVER—Imitate No One” brand initiative, which debuted during the 2025 Japan Mobility Show.
According to Lexus, the initiative reaffirms its commitment to transforming the brand by delivering unique experiences tailored to individual customers.
A Connected Luxury Mobility Experience
Lexus envisions customers using multiple transportation options within the same ecosystem. Under that concept, a customer could be chauffeured in a Lexus vehicle, travel between cities using the Lexus Flight helicopter service, or continue the journey aboard the Lexus LY680 luxury yacht.
Service Begins August 24, 2026
Lexus said the Flight service will officially launch on August 24, 2026.
The service will use the Italian-built Leonardo AW169 helicopter, which seats up to seven passengers.
The helicopter has a top speed of 166 mph and a maximum range of 488 miles. It is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW210A1 turboshaft engines.
Onboard Features
Lexus said passengers will have access to several onboard amenities, including Wi-Fi connectivity and a tablet that controls cabin climate and lighting.
The tablet also provides a live flight map, exterior live camera views, and an onboard entertainment system.
