Hyundai Previews Next Tucson

Hyundai has previewed the upcoming Tucson in South Korea, following the automaker’s practice of showing its new vehicles there before their U.S. debuts.

The new design moves away from the current generation’s swoopier and more angular appearance in favor of a blockier motif. It also features LED strips at the front and rear.

U.S.-Canada Tariff Increase Delayed

Significantly increased U.S. tariffs on Canada have been delayed for three days as the two countries continue negotiating new terms.

“Substantial progress has been made, although there is important work still to be done,” Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said. U.S. President Donald Trump posted that the nations, “subject to the finalization of documents, have a DEAL!”

There is currently no word on a prospective arrangement regarding auto imports.

BMW Recalls 28,000 Vehicles

BMW is recalling 28,000 vehicles in the U.S. across its 5, 7 and 8 Series model lines because of defective couplings between the driveshaft and rear differential.

The defect could lead to premature wear and increase the risk of power loss or a vehicle rolling away while parked.
