The 2027 Genesis GV60 Magma is launching with an unusual incentive for a brand-new halo model: zero-percent financing. Genesis is offering 0% APR for 60 months on the 641-horsepower performance EV, giving buyers a lower-rate option from the start.

GV60 Magma Launches With 0% Financing

Priced at $71,495 including destination, the 2027 GV60 Magma accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Genesis is extending its standard line-wide financing incentives to the top-tier performance crossover, positioning it against German luxury rivals and mainstream electric competitors.

Under the brand’s national dealer bulletin, buyers can receive 0% APR for 60 months or 0.99% APR for 72 months through September 8. The same financing terms are available on the base GV60.

Genesis GV60 Magma Takes Aim at Tesla

At $71,495, the GV60 Magma undercuts the entry-level Porsche Macan EV by roughly $11,100 while costing $3,845 more than a gas-powered base Macan.

When the crossover’s American arrival was initially confirmed, buyers faced expectations of a high sticker price. Early speculation suggested its estimated price might match its Hyundai platform sibling. The official price represents a $10,000 premium over the Ioniq 5 N, but Genesis’ promotional financing changes the overall value proposition against competitors such as the 2026 Tesla Model Y Performance.

The Model Y Performance has a lower sticker price of $59,380, but Tesla’s 3.99% APR rate narrows the difference in financing costs. Over a 60-month loan, the financial gap between the two vehicles falls from $12,115 to approximately $5,900.

Tesla maintains a clear advantage in driving range, with 306 miles compared with the Magma’s estimated 222 miles. Genesis counters with a more luxurious cabin and an additional 131 horsepower in Boost Mode.

Genesis Uses Financing to Strengthen the Magma’s Value

The decision to offer interest-free financing on a high-output halo vehicle gives Genesis another way to compete with established luxury and EV benchmarks. Instead of relying solely on performance figures, the brand is using financing incentives to reduce the overall cost barrier for its most capable platform.

The GV60 Magma’s estimated 222-mile range could deter buyers who frequently travel long distances, but its combination of performance and financing makes it a strong performance-per-dollar proposition for buyers financing the vehicle.

Buyers seeking the 0% APR offer have until September 8, when the current incentive period ends.
