Jeep has unveiled the 2027 Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition, the latest special edition in its Twelve 4 Twelve series and the 10th release in the lineup. Based on the four-door Wrangler Willys, the new edition combines the model’s Trail Rated hardware with exclusive styling inspired by the Great Smoky Mountains.
Smoky Mountain Edition Debuts in Tennessee
The 2027 Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition made its debut at the 14th annual Smoky Mountain Invasion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The event marked the latest chapter in Jeep’s Twelve 4 Twelve series, which pays tribute to the brand’s roots, legendary trails and off-road community.
The special edition is based on the four-door Wrangler Willys and retains its off-road-focused mechanical package while adding exclusive Smoky Mountain design details.
Trail Rated Hardware Remains Standard
Jeep offers the Smoky Mountain Edition with a choice of a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder automatic or a 3.6-liter V6 automatic.
The off-road equipment includes 33-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires, with 35-inch tires also available, along with Dana 44 axles at the front and rear, a locking rear differential, 4.10 gears, steel rock rails and a factory hitch.
The exterior receives 17-inch smoky black wheels, a gloss black seven-slot grille and exclusive Smoky Mountain hood decals. A body-color hardtop and matching fender flares are standard, while the Sky One-Touch power top remains available for buyers who want an easier open-air setup.
Exclusive Interior Details
Inside, the Smoky Mountain Edition retains the familiar Wrangler character while adding details unique to the special edition. Black Ferndale cloth seats feature a rugged embossed finish, complemented by Terracotta stitching and metallic Blaze Orange accents.
Jeep also added several commemorative touches, including a 1941 Willys parachute graphic on the seat bolsters, a plaque on the rear swing gate and a shifter medallion depicting a mama bear and cub.
Additional equipment includes heated seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control and a universal garage opener.
Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition Pricing
Orders for the four-door 2027 Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition are now open, regardless of which automatic powertrain buyers choose.
Jeep says the special-edition package costs only $80 more than a regular Willys equipped with the same gear. That price difference gives buyers the exclusive Smoky Mountain styling and commemorative details while keeping the package close to the cost of the standard Willys configuration.
