Hyundai Motor America announced that eligible electric vehicle owners can receive an ongoing 10 percent discount when charging at IONNA stations starting August 19, 2026. Through September 30, eligible Hyundai and Genesis EVs can receive an additional 10 percent promotional discount, bringing total immediate savings to 20 percent.
How the IONNA Charging Discount Works
The ongoing discount comes from Hyundai Motor America’s participation as a founding partner of the IONNA network, a joint venture created by leading global automakers. IONNA is designed to expand reliable, high-speed and customer-friendly public charging locations across the United States.
The additional promotional discount is available through September 30, 2026. When combined with the standard 10 percent reduction, eligible drivers can receive a total 20 percent discount on charging sessions during the promotional period.
Eligible Hyundai and Genesis EV Models
The savings are automatically applied when eligible drivers start a charging session through the Hyundai In-App Charging feature or use Plug & Charge technology through the MyHyundai with Bluelink app.
Drivers do not need to enter promotional codes, complete applications at the charging station or manually calculate the discount.
Eligible models currently include the 2022 and newer Ioniq 5, the 2025 Ioniq 5 N, the upcoming 2026 Ioniq 9 and the 2025 Kona Electric.
Genesis models also qualify, including the 2026 Genesis GV60 and the 2026 Electrified GV70. The eligible vehicles receive the same ongoing discount.
Discount Can Be Combined With Other IONNA Offers
The standard ongoing discount can be combined with other IONNA promotional offers. That means eligible drivers could receive additional savings when special promotional pricing is available.
The charging discount adds to the financial benefits available to eligible electric vehicle owners by reducing the cost of charging at participating IONNA stations.
Hyundai Expands EV Charging Benefits
Hyundai is incorporating the ongoing flat discount into the ownership experience as the automaker participates in the expanding IONNA public charging network.
The strategy provides eligible EV owners with an immediate reduction in charging costs while the additional 10 percent promotional offer remains available through September 30, 2026.
For eligible Hyundai and Genesis electric vehicles, the combined discounts provide up to 20 percent in immediate charging savings during the promotional period.
