Bugatti has brought the Veyron back to its birthplace in Molsheim, France, through La Maison Pur Sang, the brand’s dedicated restoration headquarters. The latest project, called the La Maison Pur Sang Veyron 20 Years, preserves the hypercar’s original character while introducing carefully selected modern design touches.
A Veyron Restored by Bugatti
Rather than turning to an independent restoration shop, Bugatti handled the one-off Veyron project under the same roof where the original cars were built. La Maison Pur Sang specializes in restoring Bugatti models while keeping their original identity intact.
The Veyron 20 Years serves as a tribute to the car that launched the modern hypercar era in 2005. Bugatti avoided major changes to the Veyron’s familiar shape, instead focusing on subtle exterior and interior updates.
New Colors and Larger Wheels
The most noticeable change is the exterior finish. The Veyron combines Rouge Rembrandt, a color borrowed from the Tourbillon, with Petrol Blue, a shade associated with the Bugatti Chiron.
Bugatti also fitted the car with newly designed wheels inspired by the original Machiavelli design. The wheels measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, allowing the Veyron to use Chiron-sized tires while maintaining its classic proportions.
New 3D mesh inserts have also been added to the air intakes at the front, sides and rear, giving the car a sharper appearance and a more technical visual character.
Handcrafted Interior Details
Inside, the Veyron remains recognizable while receiving several bespoke touches. The cabin is finished in Magnolia leather, complemented by custom Mocassin stitching on the steering wheel and shifter.
A special “20 Years of Veyron” badge sits between the seats, while the center console features a Côte de Genève finish inspired by Swiss watchmaking.
Veyron Performance Remains Untouched
Bugatti left the Veyron’s original engineering and performance unchanged. The restoration instead focuses on preserving the car while ensuring it continues to run properly and adding selected modern details.
Bugatti has also introduced a dedicated Veyron configurator for La Maison Pur Sang customers. Owners can use it to select finishes, materials and options directly from the factory menu.
Bugatti Has Not Revealed the Price
Bugatti has not disclosed the cost of the La Maison Pur Sang Veyron 20 Years. Because every La Maison Pur Sang restoration is customized, the final price depends on the specifications selected for each project.
With its combination of original Veyron character, bespoke finishes and carefully updated details, the La Maison Pur Sang Veyron 20 Years represents Bugatti’s latest factory-backed approach to preserving the iconic hypercar.
