The 2027 Lexus RX gets a modest price increase for the new model year, with every remaining trim rising by $500. At the same time, Lexus is discontinuing the base RX 350 FWD, RX 350 AWD and RX 350h AWD, making the RX more expensive to enter despite the relatively small increase across continuing trims.
2027 Lexus RX Pricing Changes
The Lexus RX remains the brand’s best-selling model in the U.S. Through June 2026, Lexus had sold 59,904 RX units, nearly twice the 30,763 NX units and well ahead of the TX at 28,112 units.
For 2027, Lexus is increasing the price of every RX trim that remains in the lineup by $500. The increase applies across the gas, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and sporty hybrid versions.
The $1,550 destination and handling fee remains unchanged, meaning the additional cost is reflected entirely in the vehicle’s sticker price.
Lexus is also eliminating the base RX 350 FWD, which started at $52,775, and the RX 350 AWD, which started at $54,375 for 2026. The RX 350 Premium now becomes the entry point, starting at $55,450 with front-wheel drive and $57,050 with all-wheel drive.
The hybrid lineup also loses its entry-level model. The RX 350h AWD is discontinued, leaving the RX 350h Premium AWD as the least expensive hybrid at $57,750.

What’s New for the 2027 Lexus RX?
The 2027 Lexus RX receives few changes beyond the pricing adjustments. The only stated update is the availability of optional red brake calipers on the front and rear of the RX 350 F SPORT Handling AWD and RX 500h F SPORT Performance AWD.
The red calipers are a visual addition to the sporty models and do not provide additional performance.
The 2027 RX continues with four powertrain choices: the 275-horsepower turbocharged RX 350, the RX 350h hybrid, the RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid with an estimated 38 miles of electric driving range, and the 366-horsepower RX 500h F SPORT Performance hybrid.
Same Technology and Platform for 2027
The RX carries over its existing interior technology, including Lexus Interface infotainment, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a standard 12.3-inch digital cluster. Higher trims continue to offer a 14-inch touchscreen.
Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 also remains standard across the lineup, including its updated Curve Speed Management feature. There are no major technology or safety upgrades specified for the 2027 model year.
The 2027 RX continues on the same GA-K platform without changes to its size, suspension or overall setup. Available trims remain Premium, Premium+, Luxury, F SPORT Design, F SPORT Handling and F SPORT Performance, depending on the powertrain.
2027 Lexus RX Arrives This Fall
Lexus says the 2027 RX will begin arriving at U.S. dealerships later this fall. The model carries forward its existing powertrains, technology and overall setup while adding $500 to continuing trims and eliminating three entry-level versions.
