The 2027 Nissan Armada enters the new model year with higher prices across the lineup and a significantly higher entry point. Nissan has discontinued the entry-level SV, meaning buyers can no longer get an Armada for less than $60,000, while a new Dark Armor appearance package and updates to higher trims add to the changes.

2027 Nissan Armada Starts at $64,290

The least expensive 2027 Armada is now the SL 4×2, which starts at $64,290. That represents a $5,450 increase over the 2026 Armada SV, which started at $58,840.

Every returning trim also receives a price increase. The SL 4×2 and 4×4 rise by $760, while the Platinum 4×4 increases by $2,300. The PRO-4X 4×4 gets a $4,690 increase, the Platinum Reserve rises by $4,040, and the NISMO is $1,160 more expensive.

Trim 2026 MSRP 2027 MSRP Change
SV 4×2 $58,840 Discontinued –
SL 4×2 $63,530 $64,290 +$760
SL 4×4 $66,530 $67,290 +$760
Platinum 4×2 $70,490 Discontinued –
Platinum 4×4 $73,490 $75,790 +$2,300
PRO-4X 4×4 $74,300 $78,990 +$4,690
NISMO 4×4 $79,530 $80,690 +$1,160
Platinum Reserve 4×4 $80,550 $84,590 +$4,040

The destination fee also increases for 2027, rising from $2,245 to $2,275, adding another $30 to the cost of getting the SUV to its destination.

The simplified lineup now consists of the SL, Platinum, PRO-4X, NISMO and Platinum Reserve. The SL is the only trim available with a choice between rear- and four-wheel drive, while all other trims come with Intelligent 4WD as standard.

New Dark Armor Package Adds a Blacked-Out Look

Nissan is also introducing the Dark Armor Package for 2027. The $1,900 option is exclusive to the SL grade and gives the Armada a darker appearance without requiring buyers to move up to the PRO-4X or NISMO.

The package includes black 20-inch wheels, dark chrome trim, a blacked-out grille and lower fascia, black badges and a Dark Armor badge. Inside, the Armada receives black leatherette, dark accents on the dashboard and steering wheel, and a panoramic moonroof.

2027 Armada Keeps Its V6 Powertrain

Nissan says the 2027 Armada is already on sale. The SUV continues to use a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 producing 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, while the NISMO produces 460 horsepower.

Maximum towing capacity remains 8,500 pounds when properly equipped.

ProPILOT Assist 2.1 Now Standard on Platinum Reserve

One of the key equipment updates for 2027 is the addition of ProPILOT Assist 2.1 as standard equipment on the Platinum Reserve. Nissan describes the system as its hands-free highway driving technology, using cameras, radar and navigation to assist on compatible roads.

The PRO-4X continues with its locking rear differential, adaptive air suspension, all-terrain tires, eight drive modes and metal skid plate. The NISMO retains its sportier suspension, steering, brakes and exhaust.

The 2027 Nissan Armada therefore carries forward its existing powertrain and core equipment while introducing a new Dark Armor package, standard ProPILOT Assist 2.1 on the Platinum Reserve and a lineup with higher starting and trim prices.
