The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette is getting another price increase after Chevrolet already raised prices significantly earlier this year. The latest increase adds $300 across the entire Corvette lineup, pushing the starting price of the Stingray LT1 to $73,795 and the range-topping ZR1X to $227,695.
2027 Corvette Gets Another Price Increase
The current C8-generation Chevrolet Corvette has been on the market for six years, and the 2027 model year brought a series of updates designed to keep the sports car fresh.
Among those changes is the new Grand Sport X variant. Chevrolet also introduced substantial price increases as early as April 2026, with the increases ranging from $1,000 for the Stingray to $15,200 for the ZR1X.
Now, GM Authority has reported another blanket increase affecting every 2027 Corvette variant. The latest increase amounts to $300 across the lineup.
Chevrolet has been contacted to verify the across-the-board price increase, and the information will be updated when a response is received.
New 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Starting Prices
- Corvette Stingray LT1: $73,795, up from $73,495
- Grand Sport: $88,795, up from $88,495
- Grand Sport X: $112,495, up from $112,195
- Z06: $121,695, up from $121,395
- ZR1: $197,495, up from $197,195
- ZR1X: $227,695, up from $227,395
The listed prices apply to the base 1LT and 1LZ variants and include the $2,495 destination freight charge.
They do not include the $2,600 Gas-Guzzler tax applied to the Z06 and ZR1X. Carbon Aero-equipped ZR1 and Z06 models face a higher Gas-Guzzler tax of $3,000.
2027 Corvette Brings a New V8
The 2027 model year also introduces a new engine, the naturally aspirated 6.7-liter V8 LS6, which replaces the previous LT2.
The LS6 produces 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. It also powers both the new Grand Sport and Grand Sport X.
The Grand Sport X can become significantly more expensive once options are added. A fully equipped Grand Sport X was quoted at $186,138, a price that puts it within reach of the base 1LZ ZR1.
How the Corvette ZR1X Compares With Rivals
Despite the latest price increase, the $227,695 ZR1X remains less expensive than some of the high-performance cars mentioned as its immediate competitors.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS starts at $241,300, putting it above the Corvette ZR1X. The Ford Mustang GTD starts at $325,000, while the Ferrari SF90 Stradale costs $524,000.
With the latest $300 increase, Chevrolet’s 2027 Corvette lineup now starts at $73,795, while the ZR1X reaches $227,695 before the additional applicable Gas-Guzzler taxes.
