The Kia EV3 starts at $29,890 before destination for the entry-level Light trim, but moving to the top GT trim can push the price much higher. With an 81.4-kWh battery, all-wheel drive and 288 horsepower, the EV3 GT starts at $45,890 before destination, but dealer markups can push some examples beyond $50,000.
One Kia EV3 Dealer Adds Nearly $5,000
CarScoops highlighted the wide differences in EV3 pricing with a 2027 EV3 GT AWD listed by Glendale Kia. The vehicle carries an MSRP of $47,385, but the dealer adds a $4,995 market adjustment.
Additional fees push the advertised total even higher. The listing includes an $85 documentation fee, $37 for electronic filing, plus charges of $1,995, $149 and $499, bringing the total to $55,145.
The dealer does offer incentives that reduce the advertised net price. A $3,500 My First EV Specialty Incentive and $1,500 in Kia Customer Cash bring the figure down to $50,145.
EV3 GT Comes With Extensive Equipment
The Kia EV3 GT in question comes with a substantial list of equipment. Its features include 19-inch alloy wheels, a power moonroof, a head-up display and Harman Kardon audio.
The vehicle also includes heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats and a NACS charge port adapter. A collection of parking cameras and driver-assist technology is also included.
That equipment helps distinguish the GT from the base EV3, but the $4,995 market adjustment remains a significant addition to the vehicle’s price. Other dealers also use markups in different ways, although they are not at this level.
Another Dealer Lists the EV3 for Nearly $6,000 Less
Not every dealer is adding a market adjustment to the Kia EV3. At Miami Lakes Automall, a 2027 EV3 GT AWD is listed at a retail price of $49,032.
Instead of adding a market adjustment, the dealer offers $3,331 in savings along with $1,500 in customer cash. That brings the advertised price to $44,201, nearly $6,000 less than Glendale Kia’s net price.
Miami Lakes Automall does list additional products and services, including LoJack, paint and interior protection and theft protection. However, those items are optional and are not included in the advertised price.
Kia EV3 Buyers Can Find Other Incentives
Incentives are also available on lower Kia EV3 trims, including customer cash and special financing or lease offers. The available deals can vary depending on where the vehicle is purchased and what the buyer qualifies for.
The difference between the two EV3 GT listings shows how significantly dealer pricing can affect the final advertised cost. Comparing multiple dealers before purchasing can reveal differences of thousands of dollars.
