The 2027 Toyota Camry arrives with higher prices but no changes to its features, powertrain or trim lineup. Each version of the popular hybrid sedan costs $700 more than before, including a $600 increase in the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) and a $100 rise in the destination charge. The updated pricing puts the base LE at $29,700 before destination fees, while the Camry continues to offer 225 horsepower with front-wheel drive and up to 51 mpg combined.

2027 Toyota Camry Prices Increase Across the Lineup

Toyota has made just one change to the Camry for the 2027 model year: its price. The MSRP for every trim has increased by $600, while the destination charge has risen by $100 to $1,295. Together, those adjustments add $700 to the total price of every version.

The base LE now starts at $29,700, bringing its price to $30,995 after the destination charge. The cost of adding all-wheel drive remains unchanged at $1,525 across the lineup.

The starting MSRPs for the 2027 Toyota Camry trims are:

  • LE: $29,700
  • SE: $32,200
  • Nightshade: $33,200
  • XLE: $34,900
  • XSE: $36,100

Hybrid Powertrain and Fuel Economy Remain Unchanged

Every 2027 Camry retains the same naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain used in the previous model year. Front-wheel-drive versions produce 225 horsepower, while all-wheel-drive models deliver 232 horsepower with the help of an additional rear motor.

The LE leads the lineup in fuel economy, achieving 51 mpg combined with front-wheel drive. Adding all-wheel drive reduces that figure by just 1 mpg, to 50 mpg combined.

Suspension tuning and styling continue to distinguish the Camry trims. The LE and XLE feature suspensions tuned more toward comfort, while the SE, XSE and Nightshade use sportier suspension setups. The two groups also have slightly different styling.

Standard Features Include Smartphone Connectivity and Adaptive Cruise Control

The 2027 Toyota Camry continues to offer a range of standard convenience and technology features. Every trim includes dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, and adaptive cruise control with lane-centering.

The lower trims come with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch infotainment screen. Higher trims upgrade to two 12.3-inch displays.

How the 2027 Toyota Camry Compares With Rivals

The Camry’s hybrid-only lineup puts its entry price above several competing sedans that still offer non-hybrid powertrains. The Kia K5, Hyundai Sonata and Nissan Altima each have base MSRPs below $28,000. The non-hybrid base Honda Accord also starts below $29,000, leaving all four models less expensive than the Camry at the entry level.

The comparison changes when hybrid models are considered. The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid starts just $500 below the Camry, making the two sedans closely matched on starting price.

The Honda Accord Hybrid starts at $33,750, which is more expensive than both the Camry LE and SE. The Accord Hybrid also produces less power and delivers worse fuel economy, although it comes with more equipment.

What to Know About the 2027 Toyota Camry

The Camry has moved back to the top of Toyota’s U.S. sales chart for 2026, although its lead may not last if RAV4 production catches up. For the 2027 model year, Toyota is keeping the sedan’s powertrain, features and trim distinctions intact while increasing prices by $700 across the lineup.

With a starting MSRP of $29,700, a standard hybrid powertrain and fuel economy of up to 51 mpg combined, the 2027 Camry remains positioned as a hybrid sedan option against rivals that include both hybrid and non-hybrid models.
