The 2027 Chevrolet Silverado EV arrives with updated features and new trim levels as Chevrolet continues to compete in the electric pickup market. While demand for all-electric trucks remains weaker than for their traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) counterparts, the refreshed Silverado EV offers buyers several configurations and optional features, with a fully equipped model reaching $112,521.
2027 Chevrolet Silverado EV Offers Five Trim Levels
Chevrolet’s online configurator allows buyers to customize the 2027 Silverado EV, from selecting a trim level to adding exterior upgrades and work-focused accessories. The configurator also features an improved user interface that is smoother and less glitchy than previous versions.
Buyers can choose from five Silverado EV configurations, starting with the WT Standard and extending to the Trail Boss – Max Range. The price difference between the entry-level and top-end versions is $33,300, with the Trail Boss starting at $89,395.
That starting price sets the stage for further increases as buyers explore the available exterior finishes, charging equipment and utility accessories.
Exterior Colors and Charging Options Add to the Cost
The 2027 Chevrolet Silverado EV offers seven exterior color choices, including two paid options. Polar White costs $995, while Dark Matter carries a $3,995 price tag.
Charging equipment is another area where buyers can spend more. The Premium Charging Package costs $2,513, providing an additional option for those configuring their electric pickup.
Wheel choices are more limited, with a single 18-inch design available. Buyers can, however, add bright wheel locks for $125.
The interior offers fewer customization options. There are no paid interior upgrades, and buyers are limited to the standard Black/Artemis Evotex material and pattern, along with front bucket seats.
Silverado EV Utility Accessories Drive Up the Price
Most of the remaining options focus on utility, reflecting the Silverado EV’s role as a pickup truck. Buyers can add a Bed Utility Pack for $1,095 or the Gameday tailgate option for $1,600.
Additional accessories include $325 Splash Guards, $995 Cargo Management Rails, a $1,350 Utility Rack and a $1,950 hard folding truck bed cover. A panoramic sunroof glass roof is also available for an additional $1,500.
The front trunk, or frunk, offers further customization through a divider and all-weather matting. Buyers who want the sliding tray must pay an additional $795.
Fully Loaded 2027 Silverado EV Costs $112,521
Adding every available option brings the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado EV’s total price to $112,521. The final figure pushes the electric pickup beyond the $100,000 mark and above the $105,000 price tag of a Hummer EV.
The fully equipped Silverado EV also costs more than the fully loaded conventional Silverado ICE model recently configured.
With five configurations and a range of exterior, charging and utility options, Chevrolet’s 2027 Silverado EV gives buyers several ways to customize their electric pickup. However, selecting every available upgrade raises the total to $112,521, making the fully loaded model substantially more expensive than its starting configuration.
