More than 90 vehicles seized from Texas businessman Clayton Lloyd Iley are set to be auctioned following his conviction for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. The collection includes Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Porsche models, along with military vehicles, pickup trucks and a classic 1968 Pontiac Firebird, after Iley agreed to surrender his assets as part of a plea agreement.
More Than 90 Vehicles Seized in Fraud Case
Iley pleaded guilty to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft and was sentenced to 13 years in federal prison earlier this year. Authorities are now preparing to auction a substantial portion of his extensive vehicle collection.
Under the terms of his plea agreement, Iley surrendered his collection. Federal authorities are transferring a significant portion of the seized assets to banks affected by his fraudulent schemes, while the remaining vehicles are expected to be sold through an online auction.
Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati Models Lead the Collection
The seized collection features several high-performance vehicles, including two Ferrari 488s, three Maserati MC20s and four Lamborghinis. The Lamborghini lineup consists of two Huracans and two Aventadors.
Other notable vehicles include a 2014 Dodge SRT Viper and a 2021 Porsche Taycan. The collection also extends beyond luxury and performance cars, featuring military vehicles, pickup trucks and a classic American muscle car.
Among the military vehicles are two Humvees and a BMY M923A2 military cargo truck from the 1990s. Iley’s other vehicles include a 2023 Jeep Gladiator and a 2013 Toyota Tundra.
The collection also contains a 1968 Pontiac Firebird. It is not the Trans Am variant, which arrived in 1969.
How Much Could the Seized Supercars Be Worth?
Several of the collection’s high-performance vehicles could command substantial prices. A well-maintained Ferrari 488 GTB coupe can sell for more than $250,000 in many cases, while the Maserati MC20 models could be worth approximately $150,000 to $200,000 each.
The two Lamborghini Aventadors are both 2012 models, with each estimated to be worth around $300,000. The two 2015 Lamborghini Huracans are generally priced at just under $250,000 each on today’s market.
The 2014 Dodge SRT Viper is another significant vehicle expected to be auctioned. The remaining vehicles, including the Porsche Taycan, military trucks, Humvees, pickup trucks and Pontiac Firebird, could also contribute to the collection’s overall value.
Online Auction to Sell the Remaining Vehicles
The planned auction will offer the remaining seized vehicles for sale after authorities allocate a substantial portion of the assets to banks affected by Iley’s fraudulent activities.
The collection brings together more than 90 vehicles, ranging from high-value supercars and military equipment to utility vehicles and classic American muscle cars.
