Maserati GT2 Stradale Tribute to MC12 has been unveiled as a one-off model created through the brand’s Fuoriserie customization program. Built for a prominent Taiwanese collector, the bespoke supercar honors the legendary Maserati MC12 Stradale, one of the company’s most exclusive road cars.
A Modern Tribute to the Maserati MC12
More than two decades after production of the Maserati MC12 Stradale ended, the mid-engine supercar continues to captivate enthusiasts. Originally developed as a homologation special, the MC12 enabled Maserati to compete in the FIA GT Championship and the American Le Mans Series.
The MC12 shared its underpinnings with the Ferrari Enzo, including a modified version of the 6.0-liter V12 engine, which was the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated engine at the time. With only 50 road-going examples produced, the MC12 has become an exceptionally rare collector’s vehicle.
To celebrate that legacy, Maserati built a unique GT2 Stradale for a prominent Taiwanese collector, creating a one-off model inspired by the iconic MC12.
Inspired by the Vitaphone Racing Team MC12 GT1
Designed through the Maserati Fuoriserie bespoke customization program, the GT2 Stradale “Tribute to MC12” was officially unveiled and delivered to its owner in Modena, Italy.
The exterior features the Leggenda livery, first introduced on the 2024 Maserati MC20 Leggenda special series, while incorporating additional styling references to the MC12. The finish combines Matte Digital Mint with Nero Essenza and is accented by Giallo Avia Pervia.
Those colors pay tribute to the Vitaphone Racing Team MC12 GT1 race car, which claimed victories at the 24 Hours of Spa endurance race in 2005, 2006, and 2008.
Exclusive Exterior Details
The one-off model includes gloss yellow Tridents and a matching rear Maserati badge. The Maserati Fuoriserie logo on the rear fenders is finished in the same Digital Mint shade used throughout the livery.
A large carbon-fiber rear wing carries the Maserati signature in Giallo Avia Pervia, reinforcing the car’s motorsport-inspired identity.
The GT2 Stradale also introduces gloss-finished carbon-fiber aerodynamic components, a first for the model. Additional exterior features include carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow calipers, anodized black center-lock wheels, and the Performance Plus package.
Motorsport-Themed Interior
Inside, the cabin is fitted with black Alcantara racing seats featuring yellow embroidered Tridents on the headrests, matching four-point harnesses, and yellow contrast stitching across the steering wheel, dashboard, center tunnel, and door panels.
The interior also includes a carbon-fiber trim package and a dedicated “Tribute to MC12” badge, which was added at the customer’s request to highlight the vehicle’s one-of-a-kind status.
Powertrain and Performance
No mechanical changes were made to the GT2 Stradale’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno engine. It produces 632 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque.
Maserati says the powertrain enables the GT2 Stradale to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 199 mph.
The vehicle’s performance is supported by significant weight reduction, track-developed aerodynamics, and motorsport-derived technical solutions, making it the most performance-focused road-going Maserati the company has built.
