The Lamborghini Revuelto Miura Edition has reportedly leaked online ahead of its expected official debut, adding momentum to earlier rumors that Lamborghini is expanding its lineup with new special editions. According to the leak, the exclusive model could be limited to just 99 units.
Leaked Revuelto Miura Edition Emerges Ahead of Expected Debut
Earlier this year, reports suggested Lamborghini was preparing several new versions of its existing models. Those rumored additions include a Roadster version of the Fenomeno and the more powerful Urus SE Performante, which produces 801 horsepower.
Another long-rumored model, the Lamborghini Revuelto Miura Edition, had yet to surface until now. The Supercar Blog reported that images of the special edition appeared online before its official unveiling, which could take place during Monterey Car Week in California in August.
Lamborghini Club Russia reportedly claims production will be limited to 99 examples. That figure differs from earlier estimates that suggested a run of 60 vehicles to mark the Miura’s 60th anniversary this year.
A Tribute to the Legendary Miura
The Miura is widely regarded as the world’s first supercar. It debuted in 1966, preceding iconic models such as the Ferrari F40 and Porsche 959.
Lamborghini previously celebrated the Miura’s 50th anniversary in 2016 by introducing the Aventador Miura Homage, a special edition limited to 50 units.
Based on the leaked image, the rumored Revuelto Miura Edition features a Miura-inspired two-tone exterior, gold-painted side skirts, a gold front bumper lip, and matching gold wheels.
A leaked “Miura 60” badge also appears to feature a bull design with a tail finished in the colors of the Italian flag.
Hybrid V12 Power Expected to Remain Unchanged
The special edition is expected to retain the same hybrid powertrain as the standard Revuelto.
That system combines a 6.5-liter V12 engine with three electric motors, producing a total of 1,001 horsepower.
Availability and Future Lamborghini Models
Reports indicate that 12 examples of the Aventador Miura Homage were built for the U.S., raising the possibility that some of the rumored 99 Revuelto Miura Edition models could also be allocated to the American market.
Lamborghini has not announced pricing for the special edition. The standard Revuelto currently starts at more than $600,000.
Beyond the Miura tribute, the Italian automaker is reportedly considering additional off-road-focused Sterrato models to rival the Porsche 911 Dakar. The Sterrato lineup began with the Huracán, the predecessor to the Temerario.
A fourth Lamborghini model is also reportedly under consideration. According to the company, it will no longer be an all-electric vehicle as originally planned. Instead, it is expected to become a plug-in hybrid grand tourer offering more everyday space than the Revuelto and Temerario, while remaining smaller than the Urus.
