Ford is expanding its investment in factory-backed customization as demand for aftermarket upgrades continues to grow among its customers. The automaker says more than half of Ford owners customize their vehicles in some way, prompting the company to strengthen its lineup of genuine accessories, performance parts, and turnkey upgrade packages.
The expanded effort brings together Ford Racing Parts, Ford Accessories, and Ford Custom Garage under the Ford Customization program, offering customers a broader range of factory-developed upgrades designed specifically for Ford vehicles.
Ford Increases Focus on Factory-Made Customization
According to Ford, genuine accessories are developed alongside the vehicles they are designed for. That means customers purchasing a new Ford model already have access to a selection of compatible accessories created specifically for their vehicle.
For drivers seeking higher performance, Ford Racing Parts provides a wide selection of upgrades, including superchargers, calibration upgrades, and suspension kits. Ford says these components undergo the same research, development, and reliability testing process as the vehicles they are built for.
Ford Custom Garage Offers Turnkey Upgrade Packages
Ford Custom Garage is the company’s latest customization initiative, allowing customers to purchase complete limited-edition vehicle upgrade packages through authorized Ford dealerships.
The program also enables owners to install pre-engineered performance upgrades backed by Ford’s 3-year/36,000-mile factory warranty. The warranty coverage addresses a common concern for enthusiasts who typically risk voiding factory warranties when installing third-party performance parts.
Available Performance Packages
Ford already offers several upgrade packages across its lineup.
- Ford Mustang FP800S: Designed for Mustang GT owners, this package includes a Whipple Supercharger that increases output to 810 horsepower while remaining compatible with the current manual transmission.
- Ford F-150 FP700S: A supercharged package delivering 700 horsepower for the F-150.
- Ford Maverick SV300T: Equipped with a Mustang-derived turbocharger that produces more than 300 horsepower.
With its expanded Ford Customization program, the automaker is increasing support for customers seeking factory-developed accessories and performance upgrades while maintaining compatibility, reliability testing, and warranty coverage through authorized dealerships.
