Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider owners have a new customization option as German tuner Novitec introduces an upgrade package focused on enhancing the convertible’s sound and appearance. The package centers on a performance-oriented exhaust system while adding suspension, wheel, and carbon-fiber exterior components without altering the car’s factory-rated V12 output.
Ferrari’s Naturally Aspirated V12 Remains Untouched
Before the Ferrari 12Cilindri debuted in 2024, many expected the successor to the 812 Superfast to adopt some form of electrification, especially after the arrival of the SF90 Stradale and 296 GTB. While a hybrid system could have delivered higher performance, it also would have changed the character of the naturally aspirated V12 and its signature Ferrari exhaust note.
The 12Cilindri instead retained a naturally aspirated V12, and Novitec’s latest upgrade package is designed to emphasize that experience in the convertible 12Cilindri Spider. The model joins the Daytona SP3, originally limited to 599 examples, as one of the latest Ferraris to receive the tuner’s attention.
Performance Exhaust Takes Center Stage
Novitec’s package includes a power-optimized exhaust system with flap regulation, including a race version. Depending on the selected configuration, the system can be paired with either the factory exhaust tips or Novitec’s own alternatives.
The available upgrades also include heat-shielded sport metal catalysts, an X-pipe, and a Switchtronic control module that allows drivers to operate the exhaust flaps using the Manettino switch on the steering wheel.
Carbon-Fiber Styling and Suspension Enhancements
Beyond the exhaust system, Novitec offers several forged multi-spoke wheel designs along with sport springs that reduce the vehicle’s ride height.
The tuner also lists an extensive selection of carbon-fiber exterior components, including a front lip, side skirts, hood and air-vent accents, a rear diffuser, and a ducktail-style spoiler designed specifically for the Spider. Carbon-fiber B-pillar caps developed for the convertible are also available.
Factory V12 Output Remains Unchanged
Both the Ferrari 12Cilindri coupe and Spider are powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 from the F140 engine family, the same engine family used in the 812 Superfast and the Enzo.
Novitec has not announced any engine modifications as part of the package, meaning the powerplant retains its factory-rated output of 819 horsepower.
Pricing Not Announced
Novitec has not disclosed pricing for its latest Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider upgrade package. The convertible itself starts at more than $510,000 in the United States, nearly $50,000 higher than the coupe.
In addition to its Ferrari offerings, Novitec also produces bodywork, suspension, and exhaust upgrades for the Lamborghini Revuelto. According to the tuner, combining the Revuelto exhaust with special metal catalysts increases output by 33 horsepower, bringing the hybrid supercar’s total system output to 1,048 horsepower.
