The Rezvani Beast X has arrived shortly after its teaser campaign, bringing 1,560 horsepower, all-wheel drive and a claimed 0-to-60-mph time of 1.9 seconds. Based on the Chevrolet Corvette, the limited-production hypercar will be restricted to just five examples.
Rezvani Beast X Packs 1,560 Horsepower
Like the regular Beast, the Beast X uses a Chevrolet Corvette as its foundation, but the new model takes the powertrain considerably further. It combines a mid-mounted, twin-turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 with forged internals and an electric motor on the front axle.
The system produces 1,560 horsepower and 1,280 pound-feet of torque, with all-wheel drive sending the power to the road. The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Rezvani claims the Beast X can reach 60 miles per hour in 1.9 seconds, putting its claimed acceleration close to the Corvette ZR1X’s 1.89-second time.
Carbon-Fiber Body and Aggressive Aerodynamics
The Beast X features a carbon-fiber body with a prominent front splitter and a low-slung front end. Its headlights are semi-hidden at the tip of the nose, while the heavily sculpted hood includes a large vent near the windshield.
A roof-mounted scoop channels additional cool air toward the engine bay. The car does not have a rear window, however, which severely limits visibility.
At the rear, wide fender vents add to the aggressive bodywork. The rear wing uses a two-element design with a pair of uprights positioned in the center.
A large rear diffuser incorporates a three-exit exhaust positioned in the center, with the pipes arranged in a triangular configuration.
Lightweight Wheels and Corvette-Based Interior
The Beast X rides on magnesium wheels designed to reduce unsprung mass by seven pounds per wheel. The front wheels measure 20 inches and use 275/30ZR20 tires, while the rear wheels measure 21 inches and are fitted with 345/25ZR21 tires.
Inside, the cabin looks very similar to the C8 Corvette. Rezvani adds carbon-fiber seats, with buyers able to customize the upholstery, while the driver controls the car with a steering yoke instead of a conventional steering wheel.
How the Beast X Compares With the Standard Beast
The Beast X is closely related to the standard Beast. The regular model uses a twin-turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 producing 1,000 hp and can reach 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds, with a claimed quarter-mile time of 9.6 seconds.
Rezvani also offers unusual options for the standard Beast, including a bullet-resistant body and the ability to create a smoke screen. Production of the regular Beast is limited to 20 units.
Rezvani’s Expanding Lineup
Beyond the Beast, Rezvani offers the Vengence, which is based on the Cadillac Escalade and features body armor and a bar inside. The company also offers the Jeep Gladiator-based Fortress and the high-riding Dune, which uses the Lamborghini Huracan as its starting point.
Another model, the Dark Knight, transforms a Lamborghini Urus into a more aggressive SUV designed to evoke Batman.
Only Five Beast X Examples Planned
Rezvani plans to produce just five examples of the Beast X. The company is accepting $1,500 refundable deposits from buyers, but it has not yet disclosed the full price.
The standard Beast starts at $585,000, while the Beast X is expected to cost more.
With more than 1,500 hp available, the Beast X is positioned as an exceptionally rare and powerful machine, with its claimed acceleration aimed at the highest-performing hypercars.
