The latest Kith and BMW teaser offers the clearest look yet at the upcoming BMW G65 X5 collaboration, while also showcasing another project jointly developed by the two brands. The nearly full-length commercial follows the matte silver X5 and provides a brief glimpse of one key detail: carbon fiber bucket seats.
The Latest Kith BMW X5 Teaser
Like the previous teaser, the new reel centers on a matte silver X5 featuring BMW X5 and Kith badging on the passenger side. After the vehicle’s driver exits, two mischievous valets take the car for a joy ride.
The teaser does not reveal major differences to the X5’s interior or exterior, although a closer look is expected when the collaboration is officially revealed on August 15. For now, the most notable detail appears to be the carbon fiber bucket seats.
The carbon fiber back of one seat can be seen as the second valet climbs into the vehicle. At the end of the video, the driver’s-side seat also reveals the handle-like structure extending from the bottom of the chair.
Another Kith and BMW Collaboration Appears
The teaser also shifts attention to another Kith and BMW project. The X5’s driver enters a car show where several vehicles appear to be part of the Kith collection.
The focus then turns to Fieg’s 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi finished in Inka Orange. The car is one half of the Kith and BMW Inka Orange duo, which debuted two days earlier at Monterey.
The camera moves through the CSi’s interior, offering a close look at the materials and finish used on the car. The video then briefly shifts to its M6 counterpart before returning to the X5.
Full Kith BMW X5 Reveal Set for August 15
While the latest teaser provides a strong indication that the Kith X5 will feature carbon fiber bucket seats, little additional information about the vehicle has been revealed.
The full reveal is scheduled for August 15. The teasers have shown only part of the latest Kith and BMW collaboration, with an E53 X5 powered by a V10 remaining largely unseen apart from the quick teasers Fieg posted on August 9.
