The Hyundai Santa Fe has been reimagined as an aggressive off-road machine in a render shared by Hyundai USA, giving fans a glimpse of what the SUV could look like prepared for the Baja Rally or Dakar.

Hyundai USA Shares Khyzyl Saleem’s Santa Fe Design

Hyundai USA recently reposted the render on its main Facebook page. The design comes from vehicle designer Khyzyl Saleem, who created an extensively modified Santa Fe with an appearance suited to serious off-road competition.

Hyundai wrote in its post: “The comments made suggestions, Khyzyl Saleem had an answer. [He] delivered an insane Hyundai Santa Fe build that proves that the internet has some of the best build ideas.”

The images also include a disclaimer stating: “Computer-generated images shown. Vehicle not sold as shown.”

Who Is Khyzyl Saleem?

According to his Facebook profile, “Khyzyl Saleem is a British, 32-year-old (now 33 years old) vehicle designer based in the Midlands, UK.” He is also known as Kyza and uses @the_kyza on Instagram.

Saleem is known in the auto industry for creating detailed vehicle renders that have gained attention online. His work also covers events, car culture and other automotive subjects.

His designs have extended beyond social media. Saleem has also designed for TWR performance, which showcased his design at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Could the Santa Fe Render Become Reality?

The concept raises the possibility of turning the computer-generated design into a real off-road vehicle. Building a Santa Fe to this extent would require significant modification, but the render presents an image of what the SUV could look like as a working off-roader.

Hyundai is already involved in rally through its N Division, adding another point of interest to the idea of taking the Santa Fe off-road in a competition-focused form.

For now, the vehicle remains a computer-generated design, with Hyundai’s post showcasing Saleem’s interpretation of an extensively modified Santa Fe.
