The 2027 Hyundai Venue will largely carry over from the previous model year, but Hyundai is removing the Denim Blue exterior with a white roof from the lineup and replacing that combination with Mirage Green and a black roof.
Hyundai Venue Loses the White Roof
Hyundai introduced the SEL w/ 2-Tone Roof trim last year with the familiar Denim Blue and white roof combination. The pairing dates to the original 2020 Venue and stood apart from the black roofs used with the trim’s other two-tone finishes.
For the 2027 model year, however, the white-roof option will be dropped. Hyundai has not explained the reason for the change, although using black roofs throughout the two-tone lineup could potentially simplify production planning.
The change removes one distinctive styling choice for prospective buyers, while existing owners will continue to have the Denim Blue and white roof combination as it is replaced by Mirage Green with a black roof.
Mirage Green Gets a Black Roof
Mirage Green is not a new color for the Venue. Hyundai introduced the paint for the 2025 model year, and it remains available on the 2026 SE and SEL trims.
For 2027, Mirage Green will also be offered with a black roof, giving the subcompact crossover another two-tone appearance with a sportier and more modern finish.
Since replacing the Denim Blue and white roof combination is the only change mentioned, the other two-tone configurations are expected to carry over. They include Lunar White and Ecotronic Gray, both paired with a black roof.
2027 Hyundai Venue Powertrain Expected to Carry Over
The Venue’s powertrain setup should also remain unchanged. It consists of a 1.6-liter Smartstream inline-four engine producing 121 horsepower and 113 lb-ft of torque.
The engine sends power to the front wheels through an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), which is Hyundai’s name for its CVT.
Hyundai Venue Remains a Budget-Focused Model
Hyundai has not announced pricing for the 2027 Venue. For reference, the 2026 Hyundai Venue SE starts at $20,550, excluding destination charges.
That makes the SE the most affordable model in Hyundai’s U.S. lineup, below the Elantra and the entire U.S. market following the discontinuation of the Nissan Versa.
The SEL w/ 2-Tone Roof starts at $22,600, while the top-priced SEL costs $225 more and is the only trim equipped with a sunroof.
U.S. Venue Stays in Its Current Generation
As a carryover for the 2027 model year, the U.S.-spec Venue will remain in the generation introduced in 2019.
Hyundai unveiled a next-generation Venue in India last year, but that version appears set to remain there for now.
