Honda is preparing to launch a new lineup of HRC performance parts for its cars and SUVs, with sales scheduled to begin in March 2027. The upgrades will make their official debut at the 2026 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show and include lightweight forged wheels, performance exhaust systems and prototypes of additional hardware designed for driving enthusiasts.

The initial lineup will cover the Honda Civic Type R, Acura Integra Type S, Honda Passport and Honda Pilot. Developed with specialized performance suppliers, the new components focus on weight reduction, durability, improved exhaust flow and enhanced fitment for performance hardware.

Honda HRC Performance Parts Target Four Vehicles

The first HRC Performance Parts will be available for the Civic Type R (2023+) and Integra Type S (2024+), followed by upgrades for the Honda Passport (2026+) and Pilot (2023+).

Honda Racing Corporation announced in 2024 that it planned to introduce aftermarket upgrades. The Civic Type R HRC concept previewed that direction, while a more hardcore HRC-developed Civic Type R has reportedly been planned for next year.

The new parts program expands Honda’s performance offerings beyond factory vehicles, with components intended for both high-performance hatchbacks and SUVs. The company will present the initial products and prototypes at SEMA 2026 before sales begin in March 2027.

Civic Type R and Integra Type S Get Lightweight Forged Wheels

For the Civic Type R and Integra Type S, HRC has partnered with Italian company 2elle-engineering to develop lightweight forged aluminum wheels. The supplier also provides wheels for the race-winning Acura ARX-06 LMDh race car, which operates at 10,000 rpm.

The new wheels measure 19 inches in diameter and 10 inches wide, making them 0.5 inches wider than the standard wheels fitted to the Civic Type R and Integra Type S. Their thin spokes and rims feature a glossy gray finish inspired by the race car’s appearance.

Each wheel weighs just 20.8 pounds, which is 5.5 pounds less than the factory wheel. Across all four wheels, the reduction saves 22 pounds of unsprung mass.

The wheels also feature an offset increased by 5 millimeters to 55 mm. The revised specifications are intended to improve track width, traction and grip while making it easier to fit larger brake calipers.

Honda Passport and Pilot Receive Stronger Wheels and Borla Exhausts

For the Honda Passport and Pilot, HRC has teamed up with Titan 7, a wheel supplier for the corporation’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb competitors and other production-based racing programs.

The resulting HRC wheel measures 18×8 inches and features an ET40 offset. It is forged from aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum using 10,000 tons of pressure, with strength and load capacity serving as key priorities.

Compared with the standard wheel, the new design increases load capacity by more than 220 pounds per wheel. Buyers can choose between Machine Black and Techna Bronze finishes, both featuring “Honda Racing” impressions on the wheel face.

The SUVs will also receive a 304 stainless steel Borla exhaust system featuring HRC logos on the exhaust tips. The system increases exhaust flow by up to six percent without creating drone at cruising speeds.

Designed to occupy as little space as possible, the exhaust works with the factory exhaust hangers. The resulting configuration increases ground clearance on the Passport and Pilot by 1.9 inches.

HRC Plans More Performance Upgrades Beyond Wheels and Exhausts

Honda and HRC will use their SEMA 2026 exhibit to showcase prototypes of future performance parts, expanding the program beyond its initial wheel and exhaust offerings.

The planned prototypes include adjustable coilover suspension with camber plates, a Brembo big brake kit featuring six-piston calipers and a short-throw shifter.

These components signal a broader range of potential upgrades for enthusiasts seeking suspension, braking and shifting improvements. However, the showcased items are prototypes of future parts rather than confirmed additions to the initial sales lineup.

Where to Buy Honda HRC Performance Parts

The initial HRC Performance Parts will be available exclusively through Honda and Acura dealerships or the online Honda DreamShop. Sales are scheduled to begin in March 2027 following the products’ debut at SEMA 2026.

Honda has outlined a performance upgrade program covering the Civic Type R, Integra Type S, Passport and Pilot, with forged wheels and exhaust systems leading the launch. Additional prototypes, including suspension components, a Brembo brake kit and a short-throw shifter, will also be displayed as the automaker prepares to expand its HRC aftermarket offerings.
