Stellantis is expanding its V8 performance lineup with six new HEMI crate engine packages unveiled at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The new offerings combine complete engines with matching control systems and installation components, giving custom car builders and racing enthusiasts a simpler way to complete high-performance engine swaps.

Stellantis Expands Its HEMI V8 Performance Lineup

The six new HEMI V8 packages are designed as complete solutions rather than standalone engines. Each package includes integrated components intended to simplify custom engine installations.

The expansion follows Stellantis’ decision to revive the SRT brand as a dedicated performance division overseeing performance parts and motorsports.

The new lineup also demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to traditional V8 performance alongside the industry’s shift toward electrification and the introduction of the twin-turbo inline-six HurriCrate engines. Stellantis has also brought back the Ram HEMI V8 for truck buyers seeking traditional V8 power.

Six HEMI Crate Engine Packages Offer Different Power Levels

The lineup begins with the 345 Crate HEMI, available in Street Strip and Super Stock configurations. Both versions deliver 385 horsepower.

The next option is the naturally aspirated 392 Crate HEMI, which also comes in Street Strip and Super Stock versions. Its upgrades include Redeye valve springs, an SRT Hellcat oil pump and an advanced SRT oil cooler designed to support sustained high-RPM driving.

Hellephant C170 Produces 1,025 Horsepower

The supercharged options include the Hellcrate Redeye 6.2L Supercharged package and the Hellephant C170 6.2L Supercharged Crate HEMI.

The Hellephant C170 sits at the top of the lineup, producing 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque when running on an E85 fuel blend. The engine is equipped with a massive 3.0L IHI supercharger.

Complete Packages Simplify Engine Installation

Every package includes a crate engine wiring harness, a power distribution center, a flashed powertrain control module and essential O2 sensors.

The systems are designed for plug-and-play integration with either a Tremec manual transmission or a TorqueFlite 8HP90 automatic transmission.

The packages also come with a factory three-year or 100,000-mile warranty. Their integrated components are intended to reduce the electrical complexity involved in high-horsepower classic car restorations.

HEMI Crate Engines Set to Arrive in 2027

Official pricing has not yet been announced. All six HEMI crate engine packages are scheduled to become available through the Mopar dealer network starting in the first quarter of 2027.

The lineup will offer builders several performance options, ranging from the 385-horsepower 345 Crate HEMI to the supercharged Hellephant C170, which delivers 1,025 horsepower.
