Ford is launching Mustang Unleashed, a new free digital community designed to bring U.S.-based Mustang owners, fans and creators together. The platform will allow members to share driving routes, organize local car gatherings, connect with other enthusiasts and earn rewards, giving the iconic sports car community a dedicated online destination.
Ford Launches Mustang Unleashed for Owners and Enthusiasts
Owning a Ford Mustang involves more than simply having a V8-powered car in the garage. Recognizing the enthusiasm surrounding the legendary nameplate, Ford is introducing Mustang Unleashed as a centralized online community where owners and fans can connect and celebrate their vehicles.
The platform is designed specifically for users in the United States and aims to strengthen the connection between Mustang enthusiasts through shared activities, driving experiences and community events.
The launch comes as the Mustang continues to be a bright spot for Ford, even when the automaker’s overall sales declined earlier this year. The entry-level model’s performance value has also helped maintain interest in the enthusiast community.
MyDrive and MyInvites Bring Mustang Owners Together
Mustang Unleashed includes several features designed to encourage members to participate in the community. The MyDrive feature allows users to map, record and share their favorite driving routes with other members.
Another feature, MyInvites, works as a digital calendar that helps users discover local car shows and organize group drives.
These tools give Mustang owners a way to exchange driving recommendations and coordinate activities with fellow enthusiasts.
MyPoints Rewards Members for Using the Platform
Ford is also introducing a rewards system to encourage participation. The built-in MyPoints feature allows members to earn points through their activity on the platform.
Users can exchange their accumulated points for merchandise and discount codes.
The rewards program adds another incentive for enthusiasts to remain active, while the driving-focused features cater to owners interested in exploring winding backroads rather than simply accumulating highway miles using BlueCruise.
Mustang Unleashed Connects Digital and Real-World Events
The new platform is designed to extend beyond online conversations by connecting members with established Mustang gatherings across the country.
Mustang Unleashed will be linked to major regional events, including Ponies in the Smokies and Mustang Week, helping users connect their digital participation with real-world car culture.
Members will also have the option to link their personal vehicles directly to the official Special Vehicle Registry, providing an additional way to document their cars’ provenance.
Ford Combines Nationwide Events With Digital Activities
The Mustang Unleashed initiative complements a physical brand tour previously launched across the country.
By bringing together nationwide events and an interactive digital community, Ford is expanding the ways enthusiasts can participate in Mustang culture.
The platform will also feature curated scavenger hunts and driving riddles, adding interactive activities to the experience.
With route sharing, event planning, member rewards and connections to established gatherings, Mustang Unleashed gives U.S. owners and fans a dedicated platform to celebrate the Ford Mustang both online and on the road.
