Ford has introduced the Bronco Desert Rising Edition, the first model in its new Horizon Series created under the company’s Custom Garage program. Designed with a desert-inspired appearance, the special-edition package adds distinctive styling and factory-backed accessories while retaining the Bronco Outer Banks’ existing powertrain and off-road capability.
Desert Landscapes Inspire the New Bronco Design
The Bronco Desert Rising Edition marks the debut of Ford’s Horizon Series, a lineup that draws design inspiration from natural landscapes rather than traditional motorsports themes.
According to Ford’s Bhavna Mistry, the design team looked to Utah’s Great Salt Lake, the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and the region’s vibrant desert sunrises and sunsets for inspiration. Those influences are reflected through a color palette featuring pink, berry and magenta accents.
Distinctive Exterior Styling Sets It Apart
The Desert Rising package features a custom grille surround, a bold BRONCO wordmark, white Method wheels with magenta center caps and optional geometric side graphics that further emphasize its unique appearance.
Customers who prefer a more understated look can skip the side graphics, as they are offered as an optional feature.
The package is available for the Bronco Outer Banks in Oxford White, Shadow Black, Avalanche Gray and Ruby Red, with each exterior color paired with the desert-inspired accents.
Interior Continues the Desert Theme
Inside the cabin, Ford extends the design with Katzkin two-tone leather upholstery finished in magenta and black, coordinated stitching, colored grab handles and Bronco logos embroidered into the seats.
Each vehicle also receives a serialized badge mounted on the center console, highlighting the package’s exclusive nature.
Factory Performance Remains Unchanged
Beneath its distinctive styling, the Bronco Desert Rising Edition retains the same powertrain and off-road capability as the standard Bronco Outer Banks.
The package focuses on appearance upgrades, Ford Performance components and Bronco-specific accessories. Ford says the factory warranty remains intact when the accessories are installed by authorized professionals.
Pricing and Availability
Orders for the Bronco Desert Rising Edition open on July 27, 2026.
The package is priced at $13,695, in addition to the purchase price of the Bronco Outer Banks used as the base vehicle.
Ford said the Desert Rising Edition is the first release in its Horizon Series, with additional packages already planned as part of the new Custom Garage program.
