Bentley has celebrated the 80th anniversary of its Crewe manufacturing facility by unveiling a one-of-a-kind Continental GTC created by its Mulliner bespoke division. The commemorative model highlights the craftsmanship and heritage that have defined Bentley’s home in Crewe for the past eight decades.
Bentley Celebrates 80 Years at Its Crewe Facility
Heritage remains a central part of Bentley’s identity. Although the company was founded in London, it relocated to Crewe in 1931, where it continues to design and build its vehicles today.
To mark 80 years at the Crewe site, Bentley commissioned a unique Continental GTC that reflects the milestone through exclusive design elements developed specifically for the occasion.
One-Off Continental GTC Features Exclusive Design
The commemorative Continental GTC was handcrafted by Bentley’s in-house Mulliner bespoke team. Its defining feature is an exclusive Supernova Purple Ombre finish created by Bentley’s Paint Shop together with the company’s CMF/Bespoke teams.
The exterior combines Supernova Purple and Supernova Purple Dark, blending the two colors while incorporating an “80” graphic along the side of the vehicle.
Cabin Honors Bentley’s Crewe Heritage
Inside, the anniversary theme continues with the number “80” embroidered into the headrests. The interior also features a custom airbrushed graphic depicting Bentley’s iconic Design Studio building.
According to Bentley, the one-off vehicle “serves as a contemporary expression of the craftsmanship, innovation, and attention to detail that have defined Bentley’s Home in Crewe for the past 80 years.”
The automaker also highlighted ongoing investments at the Crewe facility, including the Design Studio, Engineering Technical Centre, Excellence Centre for Quality and Launch, Integrated Logistics Centre, and the Paint Shop.
More Than 100 Bentley Models Return to Crewe
The anniversary celebration also brought together more than 100 Bentley vehicles representing the company’s history. Joining the event was the Bentley Drivers Club, which marked its 90th anniversary during the gathering.
A total of 107 vehicles participated and were displayed in chronological order, beginning with the EXP3, the first Bentley delivered to a customer, and concluding with the 2025 Flying Spur Speed.
The one-off Continental GTC and the gathering of 107 historic Bentley models marked the automaker’s celebration of 80 years at its Crewe facility, honoring the craftsmanship and history that continue to define the brand.
