Dodge is expanding the availability of its Redeye exterior paint for the 2027 model year, bringing the color option to the Durango HEMI lineup. The announcement comes ahead of the brand’s Roadkill Nights event, where Dodge also plans to reveal additional colors for the 2027 Durango.
Redeye Paint Added to 2027 Dodge Durango HEMI Models
Dodge announced that Redeye paint will be available as an option across the 2027 Durango HEMI lineup. Eligible models include the GT HEMI, Durango R/T 392, Durango SRT Hellcat, and Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak.
The Durango already offers a variety of exterior colors, including B5 Blue, Destroyer Grey, Green Machine, Night Moves, Pitch Black, Red Oxide, and White Knuckle. The addition of Redeye expands those choices for the upcoming production year.
Dodge CEO Matt McAlear said, “Color is one of the most powerful ways our customers connect with their vehicles, and Redeye gives them another option to create a Durango with unmistakable Dodge attitude straight from the factory.”
Iconic Colors Continue to Define Dodge Vehicles
Some vehicles become closely associated with distinctive exterior colors, making those combinations memorable alongside the models themselves. Dodge has featured several notable paint options throughout its history, including the orange Charger associated with The Dukes of Hazzard.
More recently, the previous-generation Charger became known for Redeye paint, which appeared on the fastest and most extreme Charger models. Dodge is now extending that color option to additional vehicles within the Durango lineup.
Roadkill Nights to Feature More 2027 Durango Announcements
Dodge’s Roadkill Nights event will take place Aug. 7-8 at M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan. According to McAlear, the company will announce additional special colors for the 2027 Durango during the event.
Customers interested in ordering a Durango with Redeye paint can do so at Dodge dealerships. The suggested retail price for the Redeye paint option is $595.
Performance Products and Drag Racing Planned for Event
In addition to the Durango color announcements, Dodge plans to showcase and launch new performance products during Roadkill Nights.
The event will also include street-legal drag races on Woodward Avenue, which is regarded as the mecca for American muscle car culture.
The expanded availability of Redeye paint and the upcoming announcements at Roadkill Nights mark the latest updates for the 2027 Dodge Durango lineup, as the brand adds another factory color option for HEMI models.
