Toyota has carried the bZ Woodland into the 2027 model year without making changes to its overall formula. The SUV remains the outdoor-focused member of the bZ lineup, and the automaker says its features and specifications remain unchanged.
The only notable update is pricing. Like the standard Toyota bZ, the bZ Woodland receives an $80 increase across both trim levels, making it one of the smallest price adjustments in its segment.
Powertrain and Capability Remain the Same
The 2027 Toyota bZ Woodland continues to feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain producing 375 horsepower.
The SUV delivers an estimated driving range of 281 miles. Models equipped with all-terrain tires have an estimated range of 260 miles.
Ground clearance remains 8.4 inches, while the towing capacity stays at 3,500 pounds.
Distinctive Design and Practical Features
Compared with the standard Toyota bZ, the Woodland model continues to feature matte-black fender cladding, standard roof rails, and additional cargo capacity.
With the rear seats folded flat, the SUV provides up to 74.3 cubic feet of cargo space.
Interior Technology and Standard Equipment
Every 2027 Toyota bZ Woodland comes equipped with a 14-inch infotainment display, SofTex-trimmed heated seats, a heated steering wheel, dual wireless phone chargers, and the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite.
The Premium trim adds JBL audio, ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, driver memory settings, and a digital rearview mirror.
The SUV also continues to use the North American Charging Standard port, providing access to a broader DC fast-charging network across the United States.
Subaru Trailseeker Starts at a Lower Price
The 2027 Subaru Trailseeker starts at $39,995, which is $5,385 less than the entry-level 2027 Toyota bZ Woodland.
Sales figures cited in the report show Subaru sold 2,436 Trailseekers during the first half of the year, while Toyota sold 554 bZ Woodlands over the same period.
The comparison notes that Toyota began selling the bZ Woodland in March, while Subaru launched the Trailseeker in April.
