Dodge is expanding its factory customization options for the Charger and Durango, giving buyers more ways to personalize their muscle cars and SUVs. The automaker is showcasing new colors, graphics, wheels and appearance packages at this year’s Roadkill Nights, alongside the newly launched Dodge Charger Super Bee.
Durango R/T 392 Smokescreen Concept
Leading Dodge’s customization display is the Durango R/T 392 Smokescreen Concept, which combines a distinctive exterior treatment with performance-focused interior details.
The three-row SUV features a Smokescreen exterior, a Cryo Blue graphic running along the sides, 20-by-10-inch forged Y-spoke wheels, amber accents, Cryo Blue mirror caps and dark exhaust tips.
Inside, the theme continues with Petrol Blue Laguna leather performance seats, suede trim, silver stitching and carbon-fiber-look accents.
Power comes from the familiar 6.4-liter HEMI V8, which produces 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. With standard all-wheel drive, Dodge says the Durango R/T 392 can reach 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and complete the quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds.
The Smokescreen remains a concept for now, with Dodge using it to gauge the interest of enthusiasts in more extensive factory customization.
Dodge Expands Its Color Jailbreak Program
Dodge is also expanding its Color Jailbreak program, which brings bold paint options previously associated with models such as the Challenger SRT Demon 170 and Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak to more vehicles.
At Roadkill Nights, the automaker displayed a 2027 Charger Scat Pack finished in Cha Ching Green and a Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak in Toxic Orange.
Dodge says the program is intended to give more buyers access to these distinctive colors, with pricing aimed at a larger group of customers. More details are expected later this year.
Tinted Dual Stripes Join the Charger and Durango Options
Dodge is adding Tinted Dual Stripes for the Charger and Durango. The translucent stripes allow the vehicle’s base color to remain visible, creating a tone-on-tone appearance that changes depending on the underlying paint.
The stripes will be installed at the factory and extend from the front of the vehicle to the rear.
New Durango Colors and Brass Monkey Package
The 2027 Durango is also receiving a new Redeye exterior color. Dodge is adding further visual changes through the Brass Monkey Package for Durango GT HEMI models.
The package includes 20-by-10-inch forged wheels along with black fender badging featuring brass accents.
Together, the new concepts, colors, stripes, wheels and appearance packages give Dodge buyers additional factory customization choices for the Charger and Durango.
