The Eccentrica V12 Roadster is giving the iconic Lamborghini Diablo a second life, combining the classic supercar’s shape and naturally aspirated V12 with a roofless carbon-fiber body and modernized hardware. The San Marino-based outfit will build just 19 examples, each customized for its future owner.
A New Take on the Classic Diablo
Eccentrica previously became known for its Diablo restomods, and the V12 Roadster follows a similar formula while removing the roof. Each car starts as an early Diablo before being completely rebuilt with more than 3,500 custom parts.
The familiar wedge-shaped Diablo silhouette remains recognizable, but the Roadster receives a substantial modern makeover. Its body is made entirely from carbon fiber, while additional carbon bracing strengthens the chassis. A wider track also gives the car a lower, more aggressive stance.
Removing the roof required Eccentrica to rethink the aerodynamics and reinforce the structure. The Roadster also features revised suspension geometry, semi-active dampers, hydraulic steering and modern Brembo brakes.
Retro Interior, Modern Performance
Inside, the Eccentrica V12 Roadster combines retro-inspired materials with modern touches. Connolly leather, Alcantara, anodized components and exposed carbon fiber give the cabin a driver-focused character.
Every Roadster will be individually customized, meaning no two interiors will be identical.
Naturally Aspirated V12 and Manual Transmission
Power comes from a reworked 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 550 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 443 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine sends power to the rear wheels through a close-ratio six-speed gated manual transmission with three pedals.
The Roadster offers three driving modes, allowing drivers to adjust the car’s performance characteristics.
Eccentrica claims the V12 Roadster can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 208 mph. Despite the additional structural bracing, the car weighs 3,395 pounds and retains a 41/59 weight distribution.
Eccentrica V12 Roadster Price and Debut
Eccentrica has not announced an official price for the V12 Roadster. However, the car is expected to require at least $1.5 million, before the cost of a donor Diablo.
Production will be limited to just 19 examples, with each one tailored to its future owner.
The Eccentrica V12 Roadster will make its public debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, on August 14, 2026, during Monterey Car Week.
