Audi is offering U.S. battery-electric vehicle lessees incentives of up to $10,000 to buy out their leases during September 2026, giving eligible customers an opportunity to keep their vehicles after their lease agreements end.
Audi outlined the new program in a bulletin sent to its dealers. The promotion is available through the end of September and covers three BEV models, with the largest incentive reserved for the e-tron GT.
Which Audi EVs Qualify for the Buyout Incentive?
According to CarsDirect, the Audi e-tron GT, Q8 e-tron and Q4 e-tron are eligible for the BEV Lessee Buyout Option Incentive.
The incentives vary by model:
The buyout option is available to lessees at the end of their contract term. Dealers will also receive a $500 Dealer Facilitation Incentive for each lessee who takes advantage of Audi’s BEV Lessee Buyout Option Incentive.
Q4 e-tron Gets a Larger Discount
The September program provides a larger incentive than Audi’s previous buyout offer introduced in July 2026.
For the Q4 e-tron, the incentive has increased from $3,000 to $5,000. The change gives eligible Q4 e-tron lessees a bigger discount if they choose to buy their vehicle at the end of the lease.
Audi Makes EV Lease Buyouts More Attractive
For lessees who have grown attached to their vehicles, buying out a lease can provide a way to keep the car after the contract expires. Audi’s latest incentives reduce the amount eligible customers would pay toward their buyout agreements.
With the September 2026 program, Audi is making the decision to own an eligible leased BEV more financially attractive, with incentives ranging from $4,000 to $10,000 depending on the model.
