The 2027 Jeep Gladiator 35-Inch Tire Launch Edition brings factory-installed 35-inch all-terrain tires, increased ground clearance and upgraded off-road hardware to Jeep’s midsize pickup. Available on the Willys, Rubicon and Rubicon X trims, the limited-production package enhances the Gladiator’s off-road capabilities while adding distinctive bronze accents and exclusive design elements. Pricing has not yet been announced.
2027 Jeep Gladiator Gets Factory-Installed 35-Inch Tires
The Jeep Gladiator is known for its formidable off-road performance and adventure-ready design, even though it sacrifices some comfort and refinement. Its removable doors, practical cargo bed and ability to withstand demanding conditions make it a capable choice for outdoor adventures.
With the 2027 Gladiator 35-Inch Tire Launch Edition, Jeep is expanding those capabilities by allowing buyers to order the pickup with 35-inch all-terrain tires directly from the factory. The package is available for the Willys, Rubicon and Rubicon X models.
The tires are paired with unique bronze-painted, beadlock-capable wheels, giving the truck a more aggressive appearance while increasing ground clearance. With the package installed, the Gladiator offers 12.9 inches of ground clearance.
Jeep Gladiator Ground Clearance Beats Key Rivals
The 2027 Jeep Gladiator’s 12.9 inches of ground clearance exceeds the figures listed for two competing off-road pickups. The Ford Ranger Raptor has 10.7 inches of ground clearance, while the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison offers 12.2 inches with its 35-inch tires.
The package also improves the Gladiator’s approach, breakover and departure angles, which increase to 46.7 degrees, 23.3 degrees and 26.7 degrees, respectively.
A one-inch suspension lift works alongside a 4.56 final-drive ratio, heavy-duty Dana axles and performance brakes to deliver the pickup’s enhanced Trail Rated off-road capability.
Jeep Highlights Customer Demand for 35-Inch Tires
Branden Coté, Jeep CEO, said the new edition responds to customers who want to personalize their vehicles for more demanding adventures.
“Gladiator customers continue to personalize their vehicles to tackle bigger adventures, and 35-inch tires have consistently been one of the most popular modifications,” Coté said. “The Gladiator 35-inch Tire Launch Edition gives customers the capability, confidence and distinctive look they want straight from the factory, backed by the quality and engineering expected from the Jeep brand.”
2027 Gladiator 35-Inch Tire Package Adds Bronze Styling
The 35-Inch Tire Launch Edition includes several visual upgrades in addition to its off-road hardware. The additions give the Gladiator a more distinctive appearance, with bronze details complementing the larger tires and lifted suspension.
The package includes:
- Highline fender flares
- Wheel flare extensions
- Performance hood for specific models
- Bronze badging and accents
- Bronze 17-inch wheels
- Hood, side and tailgate graphics
- Bronze tow hooks
- Launch Edition design elements
The Rubicon and Rubicon X trims also receive additional hood and vent graphics when equipped with the package.
2027 Jeep Gladiator 35-Inch Tire Launch Edition Price
The 2027 Jeep Gladiator 35-Inch Tire Launch Edition is now available to order, but Jeep has not announced pricing for the package. The option also does not yet appear on the Jeep Gladiator configurator.
The Willys is the least expensive compatible trim, with a starting price of $47,445. Based on the equipment included, the package is expected to bring the truck’s price close to $50,000.
Production will be limited, although Jeep has not disclosed how many units will be available.
A More Capable Gladiator for Off-Road Enthusiasts
The Jeep Gladiator takes a different approach from more comfort-oriented midsize pickups such as the Honda Ridgeline and more polished versions of the Toyota Tacoma. It combines traditional V6 power, substantial off-road capability and extensive customization options.
The 35-Inch Tire Launch Edition builds on those characteristics by adding larger factory-installed tires, increased ground clearance and supporting hardware. Its availability on the Willys trim also extends the package beyond the more expensive Rubicon and Rubicon X models.
For buyers prioritizing off-road performance and rugged styling, the new package adds another factory-equipped option to the Gladiator lineup. Those seeking a more comfortable everyday pickup may find that the Gladiator’s rugged approach remains less suited to their needs.
