The 2027 Kia EV6 will carry over its 2026 pricing, specifications and trim lineup, with the electric crossover starting at $37,900 before destination charges. Built in Georgia, the EV6 avoids several costly tariffs, while all seven configurations retain their existing prices and powertrain options for the new model year.

2027 Kia EV6 Pricing and Trim Levels

Kia has kept the EV6 lineup unchanged for 2027, maintaining the same starting prices and destination charge as the previous model year. The destination charge is $1,545, bringing the base model’s total price to $39,445 before any additional options.

The 2027 Kia EV6 is available in seven configurations, covering rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive across its Light, Wind and GT-Line trims.

  • EV6 Light SR RWD: $37,900
  • EV6 Light LR RWD: $41,200
  • EV6 Light LR AWD: $45,200
  • EV6 Wind RWD: $44,800
  • EV6 Wind AWD: $48,800
  • EV6 GT-Line RWD: $48,700
  • EV6 GT-Line AWD: $53,000

All listed prices exclude the $1,545 destination charge. No trim levels have been added or removed for 2027, and the lineup otherwise remains unchanged.

Why the 2027 Kia EV6 Has No Major Updates

The lack of changes for 2027 follows a series of refinements introduced for the 2026 model year. Those updates included the addition of Plug & Charge functionality and the removal of the Tech Package from the EV6 Light Long Range model.

Kia also revised the available exterior and interior color combinations. Wolf Gray and Glacier White Pearl joined the exterior color lineup, while a two-tone Saturn Black/Mild Toffee Brown interior scheme was added. Ivory Silver was discontinued as an exterior color, and Hunter Green/Misty Gray was removed from the interior options.

Later in the year, Kia added an optional black roof for the newer white and gray exterior colors.

The EV6 received more substantial changes in 2025, including styling revisions, improved driving range and faster infotainment processing. That update also introduced a built-in NACS charge port and new door handles, helping establish the configuration that continues into 2027.

2027 Kia EV6 Battery, Range and Performance

The 2027 Kia EV6 retains its existing battery options and powertrain specifications. Rear-wheel-drive models use a single motor mounted on the rear axle, while all-wheel-drive versions add a second motor to the front axle.

The entry-level Light uses a 63-kWh battery, providing a driving range of 237 miles. The Long Range, Wind and GT-Line versions use a larger 84-kWh battery, with range and performance varying according to the drivetrain.

Rear-wheel-drive Long Range models offer up to 319 miles of range, while all-wheel-drive versions deliver up to 295 miles.

2027 Kia EV6 Horsepower and Acceleration

Performance figures remain unchanged across the 2027 lineup. The base EV6 produces 167 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while the Long Range rear-wheel-drive model delivers 225 horsepower and 258 pound-feet.

The all-wheel-drive version increases output to 320 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque.

Acceleration times also carry over from the previous model year. The base EV6 reaches 60 mph in 8.3 seconds, higher-trim rear-wheel-drive models complete the sprint in 7.3 seconds, and dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions reach the same speed in 5.0 seconds.

All-wheel-drive models also have a slightly higher top speed of 117 mph, compared with 115 mph for the other configurations.

2027 Kia EV6 Warranty Coverage

Buyers considering the 2027 Kia EV6 can also factor in its warranty coverage. The basic limited warranty lasts five years or 60,000 miles, while coverage for the electric vehicle system and battery extends to 10 years or 100,000 miles.

With pricing, trim levels and technical specifications carried over from 2026, the 2027 Kia EV6 continues with the same overall package. Buyers can compare the cost of a new model with discounted lightly used 2026 examples while considering the warranty coverage available with a new vehicle.
