Bentley has introduced the Olympia Collection, an exclusive edition limited to just 12 individually numbered Continental GT models. Inspired by the automaker’s history and the 1926 Olympia Motor Show in London, the special edition combines unique exterior styling, a handcrafted luxury interior and exclusive memorabilia honoring company founder W.O. Bentley.
The collection celebrates the legacy of the 6 1/2 Litre, the second model line presented at the 1926 event. Its design also pays tribute to a memorable journey involving W.O. Bentley and his colleagues between Lyon and Dieppe in France in 1924.
Bentley Olympia Collection Honors Its Historic Legacy
The Olympia Collection draws inspiration from two important moments in Bentley’s history. The first dates back to the 1926 Olympia Motor Show in London, where the company presented the production version of its 6 1/2 Litre model.
The car marked an important development for Bentley, delivering more power, torque and refinement while preserving the sporting character associated with the brand.
The second inspiration comes from an encounter in France in 1924. While traveling from Lyon to Dieppe, W.O. Bentley and his colleagues found themselves racing alongside a prototype from a rival manufacturer.
Unhappy with the narrow margin of victory, W.O. subsequently increased the prototype’s engine displacement from 4.5 liters to 6.5 liters. That determination to maintain an advantage became the inspiration behind the new collection.
Exclusive Green Paint and Champagne Gold Accents
The Olympia Collection features a distinctive exterior treatment created exclusively for the special edition. Its most prominent feature is an Ombré paint finish that gradually transitions between Verdant and Midnight Emerald.
The deep green appearance takes inspiration from different interpretations of British Racing Green during the 1920s. Completing the specialized paintwork requires 56 hours of work by skilled technicians.
Champagne Gold accents complement the exterior, appearing on the badges and lower-body pinstripe. The Blackline specification extends across the exterior brightwork, including the matrix grille, air intakes and rear diffuser.
The vehicle also features black 22-inch Mulliner wheels with Champagne Gold detailing. When the doors open, an animated welcome lamp projects an illustration of W.O. Bentley’s famous Lyon-to-Dieppe journey onto the ground.
Inside the Bentley Olympia Collection
The cabin features bespoke Coach Green leather with a heritage-patinated finish, complemented by Cumbrian Green secondary hides.
Black-stained, open-pore crown-cut walnut veneer covers the fascia and waistrails, while the interior controls feature diamond-knurled detailing.
Additional exclusive touches include Champagne Gold seat piping and rope-inspired steering wheel stitching. The special instrument dials are modeled after the speedometer from the 1926 6 1/2 Litre.
The rear ski hatch also features embroidery depicting the historic Lyon-to-Dieppe route, reinforcing the collection’s connection to Bentley’s heritage.
Exclusive Watches and Collectibles Complete the Package
Each of the 12 Continental GT models will come with a collection of specially created memorabilia.
The package includes a handcrafted Brooklands Watch Co. chronograph individually numbered to match its corresponding vehicle. Its strap uses the same Coach Green leather featured throughout the car’s interior.
The watch also comes with interchangeable tachymeter bezels inspired by Brooklands’ Outer Circuit and Double Twelve Circuit.
Owners will additionally receive a commemorative book, a handcrafted presentation box and a bespoke green car cover featuring Champagne Gold detailing.
Bentley Has Yet to Announce Pricing and Specifications
Powertrain specifications for the Olympia Collection have not been disclosed. The 12 vehicles are not likely to receive mechanical changes compared with the regular Continental GT.
Pricing and availability details have also not been announced.
With only 12 individually numbered examples planned, the Olympia Collection combines Bentley’s historic identity with exclusive Mulliner craftsmanship, distinctive styling and a selection of bespoke collectibles.
