The first retail-production 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT, upgraded to produce more than 900 horsepower, will be auctioned alongside a customized 2005 Ram 1500 SRT-10 at the 2026 Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction, bringing two generations of Ram performance trucks together for charity.
First 2027 Rumble Bee SRT Gets More Than 900 Horsepower
The regular 2027 Rumble Bee SRT is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat Hemi V8 producing 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque. Ram claims the truck can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, complete the quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds and reach a targeted top speed of 170 mph.
The truck heading to Barrett-Jackson goes beyond those specifications. It is the first retail-production example built, and Ram’s design team and Direct Connection transformed it into a one-of-one model capable of producing more than 900 horsepower.
At the center of the performance upgrade is a Direct Connection 3.0-liter supercharger, paired with a Magnaflow stainless-steel cat-back exhaust. The truck also receives extensive exterior customization.
The upper body is hand-painted in Molten Red Pearl-Coat, while the lower section features Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat. Black fender flares and a black center hood stripe complement the two-tone finish, while custom red graphics appear along the bed.
Additional details include Flame Red RAM lettering in the grille, matching red Brembo brake calipers and satin-black 22-inch wheels. A one-of-one center-console badge authenticates the truck.
The Rumble Bee logo is integrated into the paint scheme, giving the truck a substantially different appearance from the yellow Rumble Bee associated with the model.
The 2005 Ram SRT-10 Brings a Viper V10
The Rumble Bee will be joined by a customized 2005 Ram 1500 SRT-10, a truck powered by an 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V10 borrowed from the Dodge Viper. The engine produces 500 horsepower.
Ram notes that the SRT-10 still holds a Guinness World Record as the “World’s Fastest Production Pickup Truck.” RealTruck had the truck customized by ProMotorsports in collaboration with Mark Trostle, vice president of Ram, SRT, and Mopar Design.
The SRT-10 features a bright yellow upper body over a satin-black lower section, reversing the color palette of the newer Rumble Bee. It also receives black hood graphics, yellow-and-black wheels and large Viper-inspired graphics along the bedsides.
Inside, the truck has black Alea leather seats with yellow accents. RealTruck also installed PowerStep running boards, a Pro X15 soft roll-up tonneau cover, plus Husky Liners floor liners and bed protection.
Together, the two trucks showcase two different approaches to Ram’s muscle-truck philosophy: the 2005 SRT-10 uses a large naturally aspirated V10, while the 2027 Rumble Bee produces more than 900 horsepower from a supercharged V8.
Ram Trucks to Be Auctioned Together for Charity
The two trucks are scheduled to cross the Barrett-Jackson auction block together on Friday, September 11, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m. PDT at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
UFC President and CEO Dana White will join Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson on the auction block. The winning bidder will also receive a VIP UFC Experience for a future event of their choice.
The auction takes place on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The partnership is intended to honor military members, first responders and others who served in the aftermath.
Barrett-Jackson is waiving its fees and commissions, with proceeds from the sale supporting Folds of Honor and charitable efforts through the UFC Foundation.
Two Generations of Ram Performance
Ram’s Tim Kuniskis describes the 2027 Rumble Bee SRT as representing where the company is headed, while the Viper-powered SRT-10 represents where it has been.
With more than 1,400 horsepower combined, the two trucks will be offered together as a unique pairing at the 2026 Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction, with the sale benefiting charitable organizations including Folds of Honor and the UFC Foundation.
